Holy ****, I need to get a job as a tube driver. -
Nope it just angers me to think that this sort of thing (not just animal cruelty obviously) seems to be happening more often. Or maybe it's just being reported more.

I'm watching Crimewatch, it backs this thread up. My God there are some vile scum about, hang the lot of them.

I'll be on later if anyone fancies getting our 2 games out the way. -
As I said in the last line, I'm not condoning what the old bill did to him.

Well, looking into it further, I am now reading Jody McIntyre's blog. Here are a few extracts: First student protest: "Me and Finlay immediately set to work, tearing down the metal barriers which separated the two lanes. " "We flooded into the courtyard, but the riot cops were called within minutes. As batons began to swing, me and Finlay stood our ground on the front line. I stood up on my wheelchair, but attempts to re-take the courtyard soon fizzled out as a riot van was brought in." "We were in a militant mood" "It was an epic mission to the top [Of Conservative HQ]. Nine floors; eighteen flights of stairs. Two friends carried my wheelchair, and I walked. We couldn’t give up now." "I turned in my wheelchair to face the police. “Move out of the way!” one of the mounted police shouted at me. I shook my head." He doesn't sound very peaceful to me. I'm not condoning what the old bill did to him but he doesn't sound like the angel everyone is making him out to be.

Serious question - What was he doing at the front of a riot?
-
Yeah see that is bang out of order by the old bill, and I'm not denying they do act first, I've seen it at the football, I've been on the end of it abroad, that's not on and it gives them a bad name. However, what I'm saying is, the students have no right to complain after the way they acted and I thought, from what I saw, police handled it well. Of course, the police did dish out a few beatings but as whoever it was said earlier in this thread they're only human and they were under threat. I'd do the same. I'm defending the police giving rioters a truncheon, but giving it out to innocent people like you is not on, and they should be held accountable if that is the case.

Yeah but were you in the debating club?
-
This is different, they live in Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland, it's not like they've had to apply for citizenship to live here. It's not like they've been born in another country, made the decision to move here, and then started mouthing off about how sh!t it is. The stain, I'm on about people who haven't been born here but still carry an anti British agenda, why live here if you don't like it? It'd be like me moving to Portsmouth.

Newcastle's midfielders: Nolan. Barton. Guthrie. Routledge. Tiote. Gosling. Alan Smith. Gutierrez. Vuckic. There are also two 19 year olds and one 18 year old in the Newcastle squad who play in midfield. Where does Lallana fit in?
-
Well done, revert to name calling, I'm guessing you aren't in the Uni debating club?
-
Just ask @officialsaints.
-
This leads me on to another question, how can people who have such an anti-British agenda be granted citizenship in the first place?
-
If he is banned then these ****s should be banned from this country too:

I know but I'm just picking up on the fact the students are blaming old bill just to cover their tracks, it's that playground fight scenario where you know you'll get let off if the other person hits you first cos they started it. By making it look like the police are accountable then they think their actions are somehow justified. Some of the things that happened during those riots can never be justified.
-
I was once indiscriminately attacked by police, I thought "sh!t that hurt, I'm not doing anything back", it's not difficult to have a little bit of restraint. If people like you had a bit of restraint then people like me would still sympathise with you, instead of getting increasingly p!ssed off with all the reactionary violence by the students, the desecration of monuments, the "it's all the police's fault" attitude said with a balaclava on holding a brick.

Hobby socialist, never thought of it that way before, sums the little tossers up perfectly.

I see the 'student' who tried to burn down the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Sq is too loaded and lives in a £1million house. This must have been the wealthiest riot in history.
-
I can't see how smashing up half of Central London, defacing War memorials and attacking police is justified by saying 'well, at least they're doing something about what's happening'.
