It was probably started in the 70's, a few fans started to sing it and after the game a load of people wrote in to the local fanzine calling them mongs and saying the song was sh!t, then suddenly the fanzine was inundated with letters from fans claiming that one section of the fan-base never contributed to the atmosphere, then that section of the fan-base wrote in calling the ones that sung it gobby teenage mongs. Last season my season ticket was in block 42 and it was class (apart from the 'PORK PORK' morons being not far behind me, and they are adults, not teenagers, I might add), but this season, due to spending all my money in Magaluf and having to wait ages to get another ST, I moved to block 41. The majority of the morons around me are probably aged 40-50, they do my head in. Dune I normally agree with most of the stuff you say (surprisingly) but the way you tar all teenagers with the same "cocky, arrogant, no respect for elders" brush is utterly ridiculous.
