Well they did drastically underachieve last season, so it's important that they bolster their squad. :confused:

You say that but I've done it this way as soon as they have come on sale, for every away match I've been to this season, 9 in total. On each occasion I have been in the uppermost 3 rows!

Yes you can. I tend to book just after midnight when it's quiet and have never had any problems.

Which goes back to my point that if we have the financial ability to buy a player now who is being touted as becoming a top pro in the not too distant future, then we will be in the position to make a healthy profit on him, should we so wish. I know it's if's and but's, but that's what investment is - a calculted risk. The statement of intent by ML/NC when they took over was clear. I guess we have to trust them.

I would say a bid of this magnitude would be seen as an investment in the future in that the club would see him as a player to be with us all the way back to the top flight. If so, then the price is relatively low, regardless of the league we find ourselves in at the moment.
