Chatting to a gaggle of Villa fans sat around me at the Spuds match yesterday. All welcomed us back. When the topic turned Skatey, they were surprisingly ITK and there was no sympathy for them whatsoever. They also don't seem to like Bagpuss much either! At half-time, one old boy recounted a detailed match report of our replay win there in '76 - 'that bastard McCalliog'.

I shall be finishing my season-long football ground burger survey at the following venues - Saturday - Crewe v Aldershot Sunday - Wolves v Everton or Villa v Spuds Monday - Blackburn v Wigan Tuesday - Liverpool v Chelsea Wednesday - Birmingham v Blackpool (hopefully) Saturday 19th - Hearts v Hibs (hopefully) After that, I shall annexe the Sudetenland and see where that takes me..............
