Was just an observation and comparison to last season where i thought he was on a completely different level of "up for it" Was probably the wrong thread to post my comment on as I dont agree with the OP but couldnt find another recent one regarding his current form... for the record I do still rate him highly...naturally. Team as a whole one step in the right direction after today, which was good.

I think thats just it... There were points where barnard would come in and help ricky get the ball back (When ricky could have dealt with it himself) and it stood out when alongside each other that barnard was a million miles more enthusiastic and lively.

as i say, it wasnt an anti-lambert post. Just desperate to see the old lambert back and just wish he would spring back into life...

Easy tiger. I know what I saw.. There was a few times he just didn't bother jumping for the ball. I'm not saying he was crap (so "wake up" and catch my drift ffs) he just isn't the lambert I saw last season and Im merely pointing out that I hadn't seen it until at certain stages today.

Have to say it was the first time today that I've seriously understood peoples comments about lamberts form.... Does he know how to jump???? He doesn't even bother going for headers anymore!! I don't buy the lack of confidence ****... Someone who scores as many goals as he usually does should know how good they are and shouldn't be so delicate...

I like Adkins already, he just spent the last 10 mins out signing things for fans and having a chat with them. Nice touch. I think fans should be able to get closer to manager and team....

I remember what it was like last season chasing the play offs and kept hope right up until it was no longer mathematically possible... This season however, I think i'll give up the hope now and avoid the disappointment. Our journey to the premiership starts next season.........

What??? Butterfield has been very impressive imo... Yet to see him do much wrong. Agree about Puncheon though. He gets in the right places but it is guaranteed that every time he has it he will shoot and miss or give it away through being on the ball too long..oh or he will make a bad pass. Ditch Jaidi (slow), Mills (Pointless) connolly (Had his day and knocked off ball too easily)......

If there was an option I'd consider it. Deep down I know that we are going through a blip and eventually we are going to be ok but I'm not sure how many more times I can stop myself from leaping off the itchen bridge on the way back to my car in the process....

Feel for some of us that actually have to go and watch that crap.
