Fair play to Stu for organising coaches. £20 return is a great deal. How much would a taxi cost you back from town on a night out? It got people to and from the game away from the cramped up trains, and went to a pub that everyone was happy with. At least he was honest about doing it for some profit and why not? And he never used the echo and set up a fancy web site using the old bull **** about "the best party in the whole wide world", and sold T shirts FFS. Seriously fair play mush. 20 quid coach is a bargain

Are them glasses in your avatar Deidre Barlow's?
-
The best way to have a free day out with no hassle was to lump on Lambert for 1st goal and Saints to win at 4/5. If someone organises coaches/pick up points/money etc etc, then it's fair enough if they earn out of it.

silverspoons was indeed rubbish. We didn't even bother going back after the match. We thought it would be quite a tidy place, but it was like a massive Shirley club. Not a rant by the way. Nothing would ruin today What is it with poncey Bedford place? Met up with some mates about 9 o clock and 3 bars wouldn't let us in (even though it was quiet). Nobody had replica shirts on. A couple of our lot had saints polo shirts but still refused entry. Can't even go in your home town bars after a cup final win ffs. Maybe we needed poncey spikey hair and a student ID ffs

Bookies are not stupid. If they lose a few of their better players, and we keep/add to our squad, we will be favourites. By your logic if Leeds drew Wigan/Hull etc in the cup Leeds would be favourites, when they wouldn't be.

If they lose them players they won't be favourites. simple as that. We will be strong favs

Do people seriously guage their opinion of other football clubs, on what is typed up on a message board by a handful of webtards?
-
Hooligans are fine. It's the wannabe hooligans that are funnier
-
The reindeer hatted tools ginger mate will wear one, like he did at the skate match. PORK PORK PORK ffs

I'd really like to go to a boxing night where all these "hard" hooligans got in the boxing ring. It would be entertaining seeing the "yoof" and the older beer gut brigade making themselves look silly. I know "lads" that keep their noses out of trouble, and go to football and don't act like idiots. They fight in the ring and train hard for it. Hooligans is all about a group of 10/20 or 30 kicking the fook out of a smaller group and claiming a result. How is that big and hard? This day and age with cameras everywhere - and like it's already been mentioned police setting it up for people to nick themselves - you have to be very stupid to throw stones. They always make examples of people during a world cup year. This was Saints vs pompey after all, so this is the only game this type of trouble would've kicked off anyway tbh.

Thank heavens the JPT journey is over this weekend

Isn't it funny that the ones with 11,000+ post talk the most garbage. 11,000 post FFS? Are they stuck to the seat at their desk? have they ever kissed a girl? LOL@ weirdos posting 11,000 messages on a mongboard -
Oh right, thanks for the info mate. I was thinking of driving to hillingdon and getting the tube, but the traffic would be a lot worse than HW. cheers

I've just read the program and the interview with Rickie Lambert. It mentioned the final 3 years ago that he played for Bristol Rovers that went to extra time. Does anyone know if the rules for the final are different to the earlier rounds? Or will it go straight to pens if it's level after 90? Come on you Saints
-
I've just looked into that. The journey planner says there will be 2 changes and a duration of 1h 30m - 1h 40m. Typical that every f'kin train route is utter **** the day we're at Wembley. I think Marylebone is favourite at the moment. Any other ideas?

Is it ok for parking there? Trying to plan this is doing my head in

How much other teams (Norwich) have really spent...
LA77 replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
why won't next seasons team be as good? favourites don't always win it, that is for sure. I expect us to be champions though next season. Teams will always slip up. It's been fun this season though. Roll on tomorrow and sunday. -

Did anyone else back Norwich to win the league? I put £40 on them at 11-4. They should walk it now. I hope Leeds go up with them so we can be clear favourites next season -
It will be interesting to see on TV. I thought it was a pen but he made a bit more of it than he should. You might well be correct though. It looked like decent contact and the defenders didn't seem to complain too much. Anyway, after Tranmere and Leeds we deserved a decision going our way. So be it if it's at the expense of franchise fc

Well done Rickie. A win is even sweeter when you back the first goalscorer and have 20 on the Saints to win. What a cracking 3rd goal. Very poor first half but the 2nd half made up for that. congratulations to Luke chadwick on his richly deserved MOM award ffs.

So who's received their wembley tickets in the post yet?
LA77 replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
No tickets on my doormat on my return from MK. Ironic that the 2 JCL tickets I ordered via the area final stubs arrive on the 15th. It seems the majority of fans still waiting are ST holders that ordered them on the 1st day. FFS it will be bang out of order if fans have to fook about picking up duplicates at Wembley on the day. -

I wouldn't worry about it. I went to get MK tickets and they were still putting them in envelopes. The guy sais they're still sending loads out. He said if you're transaction has gone through and money has come out of your account then you have no worries at all -

so many of us have not received them yet which must be a good sign. I'd panic now if you all had yours, and I was still waiting. They will turn up don't worry. -
Super fans in block 4 that sing "if you've got a season ticket clap your hands". Not sure what their point is. Maybe they think they're better fans than those without season tickets which is odd. The irony is i've not seen any of them at an away game. Another classic from last night, "you're just a s*** team from nowhere". Also numerous other unfunny made up "songs" that make no sense at all. I also heard a bird shout out last night "stop passing it" as we had a good spell of pressure in the first half (around the time we hit the post and barnard scored when he was offside). Saying that I enjoy block 4, even putting up with some utter tools

Was he with a fat ginger Butch dingle lookalike, and another saddo that must be 40 odd? These must've been the idiots that were at Northampton shouting "your coats too big for you" at a woman steward. The best one was "your grounds too small for you". Complete and utter losers. The ginger one was in the Itchen stand for the pompey game and he had a newspaper cut out of Rickie Lambert stuck on his ginger melon with an elastic band. PORK PORK PORK ffs

If we reach the play offs and play Pompey I hope our yoof punch their lights out
