237th out of 650 MP's put's him in the worst half of the scumbag MP's who're only interested in lining their own pockets. In 2005, he spent £2,479 on two chairs and a rug from John Lewis - £2,479 on two chairs and a rug!!!! - if you think that is acceptable behaviour I would suggest that you are completely out of touch with how the public feels.
  5. Hope we win, not bothered if we don't, it's only a pre season friendly.

His monthly mortgage claims for his terraced house in Islington, north London, stood at £1,284 in 2005, rising to £1,533 by 2007. The new Communities Secretary, who has responsibility for housing policy, also claimed for utilities, maintenance, insurance, television licence, council tax and phone bills. In addition, the taxpayer paid him up to £250 a month for food and £25 a week to have the house cleaned. In 2005, he spent £2,479 on two chairs and a rug from John Lewis, and £400 the next year for a washing machine. This was followed in 2007 by a claim for £2,792 to have a bathroom wall damp-proofed. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mps-expenses/cabinet-expenses/5602014/John-Denhams-expenses.html

  8. Bridge Too Far will not be happy.
  9. Harris poll for the Daily Mail out tonight – the topline figures there are CON 33%(+1), LAB 24%(-1), LDEM 32%(+2). This puts the Conservatives on 268, Labour on 217, Liberals 136.
  10. Get a dog. I've trained mine to chase cats off so presumably you can train yours to chase deer.

    UKIP

Having recently joined UKIP it's an understatement to say i'm not happy about this. http://www.ukip.org/content/latest-news/1598-lord-pearson-on-supporting-eurosceptics http://www.ukip.org/content/video-zone/1604-lord-pearson-statesmanlike-in-stroud I have sent Lord Pearson a strongly worded email.
  12. Tony and Cherie are gonna be ****ing themselves over this.
  13. Would official figures be more official if they were in the Guardian, or are official figures the same wherever they're published?
  14. Are the official figures wrong?
  15. Those on the left say they want a deabte about immigration, but as soon as you provide a link to official figures that don't suit their agenda they get all abusive.
  16. You just don't like the facts.
  17. I see you've reverted back to form.
  18. BRITISH JOBS PLEDGE SHATTERED AS 98% GIVEN TO IMMIGRANTS Official figures revealed that more than nine out 10 of the 1.7 million jobs added to the economy since 1997 have gone to workers from overseas. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/167882/British-jobs-pledge-shattered-as-98-given-to-immigrants
  19. I think this in the only time Cameron has come out on top, but not so much on personality, but on policy. Immigration is a major problem in this country and the Tories are a better option than Labour or the Liberals to deal with it. In a few years time Turkey may join the EU and we need a Tory govt to stop them all coming here. I'd rather have a UKIP govt. though.

  21. Exam results improve every year. It's ridiculous to say that's because children are being taught better every year, year on year.
  22. What a load of rubbish.
  23. Of course you won't because i'm right. Exam results getting better year on year isn't because children are brighter or teachers are better - it's because the exams are easier.
  24. Why? Schools were perfectly alright in my day and the exams are easier now than they've ever been.
  25. We had a decade of growth thanks to Ken Clarke and Gordon Clown not only spent the lot, he borrowed even more because he really believed his own hype that a recesion would never happen again.
