I thought he was unlucky to be booked for that one, but then made a challenge 5 mins later he could well have been booked for - writing looked on the wall then.

I thought the ref was poor, every 50/50 seemed to go their way and the ref let them get away with a lot of little things; didn't help us cope with them. The tackle on Targett by their new striker looked an absolute disgrace from where we stood.

I reckon Soares was subbed partly due to his booking, but also the fact he was getting roasted so much, another booking looked inevitable, he really struggled.

Funny old game to say the least. I didn't think Rodriguez should have started, hasn't looked fully up to speed in pre season and it was too attacking a line up. We should have started with JWP, purely to help with ball retention. They absolutely hammered us first hour, looked sharper, fitter, stronger and we could have been a couple down. We really shouldn't have given so many key players so much game time on Thursday. After going 2-1 we woke up and battled, Davis and Wanyama got control of the midfield and we could have well nicked it at the end. Tadic really struggled. Mane was shattered. I thought Pellè was excellent throughout.

But it's not a '4', then another '4' is it?

I thought JWP looked alright today. Never get the fuss. He probably won't ever get to Beckham's level, but he's a handy part of our squad tight now.
-
He doesn't have a free role, he's played in certain positions. You're wrong on this I'm afraid.

I enjoyed the game. Espanyol provided enough of a test, decent side. Game wasn't played at a great pace. No great areas of worry, did exactly the trick for what a pre season game is all about.

They were pretty quiet for a lot of the first 45mins, came to life after the game looked over. I hope our support don't dance over in Arnhem, why would anyone want that.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 3-0 Vitesse Arnhem - Europa League R3

Yep, still plenty of moaning and a collective groan every time a pass is misplaced. If people aren't happy now, they never will be, sad really. -

Wanyama was excellent, ran the game and carried Clasie. Mane has a good game too, looks a cut above ar times. -
Do they enjoy wasting money on random bets, or is this just a one off?

Pochettino interview: Spurs are a bigger club than Saints, etc.

I definitely don't think "all the fans loved him". Everyone I know rated him as a manager, but never took to the bloke. -
Why would he ask him that?
-
Never? Even if they've got a s**te team infront and around them?

I think I saw somewhere that Caulker had a better average Whoscored rating from last season than Alderweireld.

So an increase in the tax rate for those that have an annual income greater than £1m for example?

Depends on your definition of trickle down economics? If more money is earned by a very rich individual, increasing the tax they pay and the money they spend in the economy, does that not have a wider benefit? Obviously doesn't apply in all cases.
