You might love that as an option, but the cold, hard reality of free movement within the EU and mass immigration into this country has resulted in large numbers of Brits being undercut in the labour market, with the costs of housing being disproportionally pushed up.

Yes, true, but the point of my particular post was that as far as I'm aware, there is no significant movement in France or Spain to kick out UK nationals there, therefore Tim's point is a bit irrelevant at this point - if the French or Spanish did want to kick them out, good on them, they should have the right to do so in my opinion.
