Sepp Blatter considers "review of decsions"
Sour Mash replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
So you're recommending a system whereby a defending coach/manager can stop an opposing team's attack in the dying seconds of a game but shouting for an appeal? Ridiculous system. -
Our Swansea ticket allocation has already sold out.

Apologies if I missed you explain it, but can you just outline a workable, practical, beneficial plan for at which point in time the game is stopped and who's call it is for when the game should be stopped and a decision contested? -

Pretty much the whole ground is "close" to the pitch, there are no seats up in the God's, for a better view it's worth going at least 15/20 rows back I'd say. Depends if you want a view from the half way line? Do you want to stand up or sit? A 16 year old would be allowed in any pub in Southampton no problem at all if they were accompanied by a parent. -
I'm not sure, but looking at the stadium plan above I think we normally get 20, 21 & 22 for league games. I'd guess blocks 23 & 24 to complete this allocation?
-
If we've only got up to block 22 so far, we haven't sold that many.

I'm certainly not an expert on South African legal proces, but surely this will create a clear precedent for anyone considering murder in South Africa? He's clearly guilty.

WHy the question mark over his intent? What else his intention of firing his gun through into the bathroom where his girlfriend is?
-
It won't be a sell out. There are tickets remaning for sale in every single block of the ground. Have NEwcastle definitely taken the full allocation?

The Ben Arfa call is a strange one from Pardew, but ultimately results versus resources, he's done alright up there in my eyes. Him being sacked doesn't solve the Geordies' problem with Ashley.
-
An amusing and well-written piece, but I don't really get their dislike of Pardew. Admittedly I only saw the highlights from their last game with Palace, but it looked open and entertaining and not exactly focused on men behind the ball. And fundamentally, has Pardew done that badly considering the money at his disposal - he hasn't really spent much by modern day Premier League standards.

Crystal Palace don't have a feeder club. We're not going to be getting an Indian feeder club, because there is no point in us getting one.
-
Ok, I'll ask again, how many big clubs have feeder clubs?
-
How many big teams have feeder clubs?

Why should someone that thinks the idea of an Indian feeder time a load of rubbish, have to go and watch Totton or Sholing? What a weird connection to make.

Isgrove won't be picked ahead of Long, the rest of that line-up is probably right though.

He must do, I can't believe the figure is so low so far, he's had a fair bit of publicity over the last week or so.

Sepp Blatter considers "review of decsions"
Sour Mash replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
As I explained earlier, there is no workable solution, no matter how many people think it 'might be a good idea'. -

What if that 'appropriate point' is the opposition scoring a goal? Half the crowd go mad celebrating, turns out the ref has called it back for an infringement that happened 5 mins before. -
The one in Shoreditch isn't really new or different shops when I went there, just established brands using it as something different. Was still good though.
-
Unlikely, considering there is something very similar in Shoreditch.

So explain to me what your proposal is then, if I've got it wrong. On that basis you haven't provided a working alternative scenario, just cried that the current system is "unfair". And -

There really aren't many "ridiculous mistakes" are there? The vast, vast majority of officials seem well trained professionals to me. -

Hold on, let me get this straight - you are suggesting a system, where a team can be 1-0 up in the FA Cup final, 91st minute and attacking, they lose the ball and the opposition break very quickly and look like they could be clear through - the team 1-0 up are able to use one of their remaining "appeals" and have the game stopped/brought back, while it is "reviewed". All their players get back in position, have a good breather and are ready to see out their 1-0 win. It doesn't work.
