  1. My one negative of today was the bellends (you know who you are) spending a large part of the game having a go at Fox. 1) How can he make himself into a better player than he is? He tries his best, he can't magic himself into a Premier league player. If you've got such a problem with it, have a go at MP or NC for not replacing him in the summer. 2) We were battling against quality opposition, get behind our side, not constantly have a go at individuals.
  2. Well you wouldn't say Wilshire has performed to his potential this season would you?
  3. Is it any different from players that go drinking on a night out during a football season? Shouldn't really do either in my opinion.
  4. Did we have anyone involved in the England v Wales U16 game tonight. Caught the 2nd half and there were some strong performances, heard us mentioned, but didn't catch the context.
  5. I do wonder how much spare cash the FA must have lying around to p**s about on various schemes and ideas.
  6. Can you draw up a list of people who are/aren't allowed to be criticised after their death? Just so we know, like.
  7. Maybe you're right, I do like Davis and one could argue there isn't as much pressure on the attacking midfielders to score if we've got two strikers playing that are likely to contribute goals, than just the one.
  8. The point I was replying to was that NC had said he wouldn't have sold Bale - well he sold Chamberlain, so either the Bale point isn't relevant or the Chamberlain point is? 5 years is a very long time - how many top draw young British left backs are out there? We'll get a ton of money for him, but he won't still be here in 5 years time.
  9. It is boring. Any tactic that favours defence over attack is.
  10. The chances aren't 'non-existant' are they? Cortese sold Chamberlain.
  11. Nothing to do with the £200k thankfully, but still a pretty strange offer, don't know why that offer can't be for say all under 21s rather than just those that happen to work or study at a particular institution.
  12. But you said further up the page that you didn't think Targett would be used if Fox leaves, so what relevance does Targett have to the discussion?
  13. When we're struggling I guess there is more to discuss re what needs to be changed/improved, not too much to comment on in that regard at the moment. Back 5 and two CMs we know what we're getting there; I think MP will still go with Lambert and Osvaldo together up top for now, especially after they both scored last week; Lallana will start; which leaves one question - who out of Davis, Ramirez and Rodriguez should start? They all have their plusses and minuses; Davis can press their passing game well, keeps possession well which will be vital against Swansea and I think will form part of MP's focus for the game, negatives against him are he plays it a bit safe, lacks enough of a creative spark or goal scoring threat for such a role; Rodriguez - again, good at the pressing game and should stop Swansea having time to build from the back, offers us something a bit different with some direct running with the ball, negatives are gives the ball away at times, not the greatest passer or most composed finisher; Ramirez - potentially most creative member of squad and possibly what we've been lacking in terms of us moving the ball smoothly from midfield possession to goal scoring opportunities and may create something out of nothing against a stubborn defence, negatives are he can give the ball away too easily and is then not as good as the other two at winning it back and I really can't see us going with a front four of Lambert, Osvaldo, Lallana and Ramirez, as entertaining as that would be. Hard one to call really.
  14. No, we're trying to understand what your point is in relation to the discussion and are currently unable to.
  15. Correct, that's my understanding of what they're doing. Means that those that go away regularly throughout the year get a good deal, not just those doing a one off as its a freebie or only those that live in the city and choose to go by coach getting a good deal.
  16. So if it's not likely he'll be used if Fox leaves it's not really relevant to the conversation on who would be cover for Shaw.
  17. Wouldn't surprise me if he goes next summer, but we'd be looking around the £30m mark. Would be disappointing, but reinvested well, it could make us stronger - see Spurs with Bale.
  18. So do you think it's likely that Targett will be used if Fox leaves or not?
  19. We've done what?
  20. Said it before on these threads, by far the best/fairest scheme is what Liverpool are doing with their money, wish we'd just follow that.
  21. Norwich wasn't on a Sunday. Stoke was on a Saturday, 3pm kick off as well.
  22. And there you go again. No need to get so angry if you're unable to explain your pont.
  23. These posts show how much you two are really concerned about showing respect to other people.
  24. which bits are slander?
  25. Didn't sell the full allocation at Norwich last year or Stoke or come anywhere close at Everton.
