http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/10703022.__450m_Royal_Pier_scheme_on_verge_of_becoming_a_reality/ Anyone think this will actually happen? And if so will be any good? Could be a fantastic opportunity, what the city has needed for years.

Not a 'high end' restaurant, but this is the kind of potentially interesting project that the city needs a lot more of http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/10702064.Plans_to_convert_historic_building_into_pub_and_brewery/?ref=twt

Poch on Lambert's mobility and the strain of fame
Sour Mash replied to Golac's Iron Gonads's topic in The Saints
Fair enough, but that doesn't really change my view - Lambert is in better physical shape than he's ever been - I can't see how he's going to become more mobile than this, he's never going to be that kind of player. -

I don't quite get MP's quotes on Lambert's mobility. Can he be more mobile then he currently is? He's just not that sort of player physically. -
SOme of the songs sung at him are a bit pathetic, equally no real need to cheer him either.
-
Yeah that would be an amazing way to celebrate our first home win in the league for 6 months
-
Can't see it happening? Who would realistically pay decent money for him? Can't think of anywhere that would be realisitic and appealing for him.
-
I reckon if they can't have both Newcastle and Sunderland at home on the same night, we'll be on the Tuesday as Man City are also playing on the Sunday with a 4pm k.o. so can't see them agreeing to a Tuesday fixture.

The Islamic world's contribution to the 21st century.

Tough draw travelwise and for some reason I think we'll struggle to go through,if it's on the Tuesday though I can't see how Sunderland could turn out a decent side.
-
You should get a coach and match ticket all in for £50 I reckon. Time? It's a good 6 hours drive I'd say.
-
He played 90 mins up at Barnsley a couple of weeks ago. Rodriguez also runs at defences through the middle and Harrison Reed didn't make a bad job of doing so either.
-
But that's not what you said.

Don't understand the post, references to Cork and Lambert bits?
-
I agree it's a poor stance from the club, but in their defence, we didn't sell out at Norwich last season, or any away game north of Brum apart from Liverpool (and again that wasn't the full allocation).
-
We've all seen his ability, that is the frustrating thing, the point is he hasn't been "on form and playing" enough.
-
I think most would be more than happy with Schneiderlin's performances across his time in the Prem if he'd been signed for £12m in the summer of 2012. Shaw has been consistently excellent for the same period, would probably get a bit of stick for being a bit injury prone, but has still managed far more football for us than Ramirez and is 4 years younger than Ramirez. Lallana gets plenty of stick on here for his performances and he was a "free" through the academy.
-
I don't disagree that Ramirez is a good option for unlocking teams that get men behind the ball and are hard to break down at our place, but does MP trust him? 20mins of game time across the Sunderland and West Ham game suggests maybe not?

We didn't sell out at Barnsley and didn't even take the full allocations at Norwich or Liverpool.
