  1. No, they won't be 'forced to move to survive as a club'.
  2. That'd probably be mine, but with a different keeper, maybe Mignolet and possibly Williams at Centre Back.
  3. Check the definition of merit. Do teams that only finish 7th in the league really deserve the reward of European football? That's nearly midtable. Or sides that only play lower league opposition on a cup run and then get well beaten in the final, do they deserve it. What about teams that finish 4th, 25 points behind 1st, should they be competing in a competition called the "Champions League"?
  4. Who knows if Everton really have too move. Plenty of clubs have moved to knew grounds and it really hasn't improved their fortunes on and off the pitch. Also, who knows how many points Goodison Park and all that goes with it have won for Everton.
  5. Upton Park certainly doesn't have "steep" banks, none of the old traditional grounds do.
  6. Would be quality. Good competitive pre-season games, club can be marketed and sold to new signings as competing in Europe. Didn't do Fulham too much harm and they didn't exactly have an exceptional squad.
  7. It is actually.
  8. Who is going to continue at Bournemouth and why?
  9. I think we should definitely take it if offered. Use the qualifiers as a good level pre season, the club can market itself as a European side which I'm sure Cortese is very keen to do. Win-Win situation.
  10. Doesn't stop it being a great ground. English football will be a poorer place when such grounds are no more.
  11. I doubt the players care either way how many twitter followers the official account has.
  12. How much do you reckon he's on?
  13. In what way is Pride Park better than St Marys? It is in the middle of one of the dullest retail parks you could ever see. What changes would you like to see to St Marys? Which game was that at Everton? Only time we've played them in the last 5 years was this season and they were compleely silent. Not played at Brammal Lane for five years either. Skates are about the same as us for derby games, both loud.
  14. Seen him a couple of times for the under 21s, doesn't seem to have the pace and power for the Prem.
  15. You think Pride Park is a better ground than St Marys? In what ways would you change it? WHich grounds have you been to in the last 4 or 5 years that have a better atmosphere?
  16. This chap appears to be doing alright http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2310139/I-acting-self-defence-says-drunken-fan-disabled-benefits-threw-punch-police-horse.html
  17. Based on our current squad, he would definitely get on our bench. Having said that, I think we can do much better than him.
  18. Always said Oldham wouldn't let us down.
  19. Those ITK on this chap, where would he rank compared to Cork or Schneiderlin? Better than either?
  20. If Yeovil win tonight they are still very much in with a shout for automatic promotion. Gary Johnson isn't going to tell his team to take it easy, his players would laugh in his face. An equally interesting game re the Skates is Scunny away to Bury, a win for them will also make it harder for the Skates to escape.
  21. Is there anything different in this one to the last two?
  22. Oldham won't beat Yeovil I'm afraid.
  23. It might be the key phrase, but it's wrong. We paid for both his current ability and his future potential.
  24. There weren't 15k empty seats at our game at Old Trafford this season.
  25. Such surveys do not take years to do. How do you think they do them for grounds that aren't even built yet? Plus, we had plenty of high attendances last season where data could be collected.
