  1. I can see why some wouldn't like it -it is a fair divergence from what most would consider what a Saints home kit should look like and they are pushing it a bit with the lack of white on it. I'd be more concerned if it was part of a wider move to change our home colours permanently - guess none of us really know about that. Looking back its made me realise how few home shirts in the last 30 years have been the classic red&white stripes, especially compared to how little the likes of Stoke or Sunderland seem to deviate from their traditional kits. Think both kits look smart for what its worth, but then I only occasionally buy football shirts and that's to play in, so I'm not really part of the market audience.
  2. Agree. To be fair Saints Web has lived up to form on this one from both sides, more entertaining than everyone agreeing and being rational.
  3. I think they were last season's prices? Not sure. I took a guess of adding £2 on top of that. Only concession last season seemed to be for under 16s at £20.
  4. Exactly. I can see reasons why people might not like it, but I think some of the criticism on here is made up as they go along.
  5. We didn't wear red and white stripes for pretty much the whole of the 1980s.
  6. It's fair enough if you don't like it, but it certainly can't be described as 'unoriginal' or 'unimaginative' can it.
  7. It's clearly not all red though is it? See the picture at the top of this page.
  8. Yes. On the basis it'll be £40 a ticket and on sky it won't sell out.
  9. Exactly. Just a different take on it, probably better than charging £40 for a new shirt that only has a couple of minor tweak from the one you paid £40 for a year ago? For what it's worth I think they're both pretty smart.
  10. Absolute classic post ha ha!
  11. For what it's worth I think its smart. What I don't get is what we'll wear away to Sunderland or Stoke?
  12. I don't think I have seen one single comment anywhere suggesting that Saints weren't serious about establishing themselves in the Prem - why wouldn't they be serious?
  13. It'll be embarrassing as they sing it much better than us.
  14. You always thought he was a "murderous scumbag", but becasue he has now met the Queen, you don't? Right..............
  15. We always do, nothing wrong with that. Looks like the first game is in the middle of Geneva?
  16. It'll be Rangers getting dropped from.it. They won't be able to field a team.
  17. Who is Tomas Sivok?
  18. Last year's Emirates tournament as some sort of comparison http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/emirates-cup-2011-ticket-information
  19. There is no Emirates Cup this year because of the Olympics.
  20. £30 for Chelsea fans at Brighton I believe (later in pre-season, so a bit more competitive perhaps). £25 is standard for these games. Emirates tournament was £30-35 three years ago. If Saints are going to be as successful as many on here are hoping/expecting, then the days of cheap tickets for any games are long gone.
  21. We have two I think - Norwich at home and Man Utd away. Generally the Prem is much better for fans being able to make games.
  22. Looks likely. Would imagine that might add a few more Rangers onto the attendance as a show of solidarity/support etc.
  23. Agree. Can't see too many Saints fans paying the full £25 outright on it's own.
  24. Plenty of Saints will get in at the concession rate which ain't too bad really, plus those with kids that get in free will be tempted. Could see 3k from each away team and 7k Saints easily.
  25. Plenty of Rangers and Arsenal fans will turn out, they'll get circa 15k for this. Still a disapointment.
