I'll probably get mis-interpreted saying this, but I don't think there were that many "great" games this year. Lots of one-sided wins, with some frustrating defeats, not too much else. My choice is definitely Ipswich away though.

Agreed. Watching the BBC coverage back yesterday of Saturday's game and pretty much everything was positive apart from how many middle aged men had decided to go to football dressed as a freak. We take the p**s out of that skate Westwood, it's the same principle.

Best day trip or away game. Two great trips to Carlisle, really enjoyed both days at Hudds, Donny this season was class, as was Cardiff. Didn't win any of those games.

Yeah that looks to be the case, don't know why they play over the summer. Doesn't make it too appealing for them to play English pre-season games, can't think of too many teams that have played over there.

And that's just on the flight out there. I would be tempted by this to be fair. Knowing Saints we'll keep all the details a secret anyway.

You just beat me to it. Was going to start a thread on pre-season. In Adkins interview after the game, he suggested that pre-season was all "boxed off", I took that as pretty much confirmed where/when they're going. In the promotion for registering with the new ticketing website it said that there was a prixe of a fully paid trip to our pre-season, which *suggests* possibly somewhere more exotic than Switzerland. Would be good if the club gave us the heads up nice early in case anyone fancies it.

Worst way to buy a player. Player raises his game and puts in a couple of good performances in a big tournament, his price and wages go up, get him into the Prem week in, week out and he fails.
