Not sure, I guess I didn't reply because you'd missed my point, but as you're so eager for a reply I hope this will stop you pestering me. Some of us take pride in the way our club is viewed around the world - that is obviously on the pitch, being the best team, playing the best football, carrying ourselves with class, but that is also off the pitch. Like it or not, fans do represent their clubs - our image and impression of different clubs are formed as much by how supporters behave as by their teams performances on the pitch, be that good or bad. Now, you might not care that other fans take the p**s out of Saints, or try to have a laugh at our expense, but I do - but as I say, some of us take more pride in our club than others. Nothing wrong with that. You're happy with people seeing Westwood type characters waving balloons at the cameras, I think we're better than that. Nothing to do with designer labels as many seem to be obssesed about or not wearing a Saints shirt - just not dressing up like an attention seeking ***t at every big televised game.

I just find your views on those fans that haven't had a public school education or make some kind of effort to dress differently when going to football (you called them 'sectionable' I think) unfortunate. However, if you choose to look down your nose at the majority of other Saints fans, I fully respect your right to do so, even if I don't agree with it. Descending to name calling of other posters (as above), seems to tie in with this I'm afraid.

Unless they didn't go to public school or if they happen to put any thought into what they wear to a football match. Where does this attempted superiority complex come from? I go to games and get on with people from all backgrounds and walks of life, it's a pity you can't do the same, you'd enjoy it much more.

I think you will find the rather unpleasant, personal attacks regarding individuals lack of public education came from Legod Third Coming rather than myself. I agree though, it is unfortunate that he decides to take that approach when losing a reasoned and fair debate.
