Very Good !

Had not seen this until now... She really does increasingly come across with an "anti-white" chip on her shoulder hypocrite... Really hope she is chucked out at the ballot box - No more than the old bat deserves IMO..

Well thank god we are not West Ham then - So many press leaks there that I've lost track of the number of players they are buying this window

While this might be the Royal Yacht, I would wager that it will be available on many, many occasions as a business acquisition lever. Britannia was often used in such a way. I am reading the latest Andrew Marr book on the Queen and it was estimated that while the yacht cost £60 million a year to run it indirectly contributed to £100 million a year in trade for GB by hosting international businessmen and national leaders. It was the upgrading refit that tipped it over the cost versus benefit argument together with the Royals being so attached to Britannia that they were ambivalent about a replacement. Rich Middle Easterner and Asian leaders/ businessmen love this type of "entertainment" and a new Royal Yacht may prove to be an asset and not a millstone.

The only reason this one is in the public domain is because Lennon opened his gob !

Who is this week's mystery signing?
Foxstone replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
All the necessary "raw materials" are there - He just needs to be coached well! We have such a coach at the club of course... -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16560707.stm Looks as though we are serious !

CMFG is clearly on the list as number 1, but I would also give an honourable mention to Ostenstad. I remember both him and Flo were linked with us, and when we did not get Flo I thought we had signed nothing but the Norwegian also ran - At the same time Nevland and Solskjaer had gone to Manure too.. He turned out superb.
-
Will not have to worry about Bamba - He's away with the Ivory Coast. If we play as well as we know we can, we will win.
-
Excellent result against what I have to say is a poor Forest side who seemed to lack any method or motivation - But then thats Clott for you I suppose. 2 away wins on the spin now which shows we can do it although we will facew much better sides than this. But a happy Sunday all round.

Very sad and untimely - There but for the grace of god sometimes... RIP nipper

Could not agree more - Chaplow was our one midfielder who had the energy and perhaps drive and confidence to support the strikers and break into the box in a telling manner. I really think it is no co-incidence that we have lost our way a bit without him.
-
Jemal allegedly introduced the requirement of a "bung for his first club" at the last minute - I'm glad NC told him to stuff that - We are not PFC. I was never convinced we were wholly in for Gorkss anyway, We could have snapped him easily if we really wanted using Puncheon as a lever.

Flexible = Fine and I'm sure we are. Allowing ourselves no be mugged = No and I'm sure we are'nt
-
Sharp and Rodriguez were the 2 confirmed bids and neither wanted to move from where they are - One being Burnley born and bred and the other preferring to stay based in South Yorkshire - Hardly a failure on our part was it, money does'nt always buy happiness.. I doubt whether Spurs or newcastle saw it as a failure on their part that MLT wanted to remain based down here and play for us did they..,.
-
I think one of Sharp's potential deal breakers is location. His entire professional career has based around the Yorkshire/Humberside area and if he moves to leicester he will not have to re-locate his home, whereas of course if he moves to us then he will have to. Some people like where they live more than ambition perhaps, and it would have to be much more worth his while to come here than perhaps the Foxes..

We have had many fantastic signings in the past so no reason to beleive that we cannot have more in the future.. NA clearly wants him, so lets see how far this game of Russian roulette goes...
-
Agree - His attitude and behaviour at that time pales Puncheon's tantrums into insignificance.

A question for the mods about this main board
Foxstone replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
I do not agree with all Alpine's opinions, but there are many I do and I rather think he and I are quite similar in that we vent frustration at times when things are not going so well, and that we can see alternatives that are not taken. Now these alternatives might not be right either or indeed might not even be possible, but still as with many football fans passionate about their club, give rise for them to vent their immediate opinion. Both Alpine and I were early critics of the Burley management ( I still maintain we were right to be so), but from what I can see, we are both great supporters of the Adkins regime - And in Alpine's defence he has often praised him and his management. Just recently we have hit the buffers a bit - I still think we undoubtedly have the right man in charge but it does'nt mean that frustration cannot come out from time to time, more so than when things are going well. It all makes the forum what it is and less sterile if everybody has nothing to say because everything is hunky dory. -
Excellent confidence boost, with a number of our youngsters playing their part today. Forest drew today so they will have a mid-week reply to worry about while we can rest... Please let this be the corner turned..
-
See Cox has scored a hatrick for WBA today against Cardiff - He weants a move does'nt he? Sharp not playing for Donny either... Great second half from the lads by the way.

HaHa Storrie-Ho losing argument and getting defensive shocker !!

Diane Abbott has more chips on her shoulders than Harry Ramsden has in his pans... While she might not have intended to say what she said, I do beleive she loves to play the victim of all things "white".. I mean all this trash about colonialism sounds very Mugabe'ish to me !
-
Agree with your analogy of Miliband but I disagree with your assertion that image is everything in politics.. Conviction, Vision and Drive are more important. Cameron and Clegg are image obsessed but they are still shallow without giving any true steer as to what they stand for - In fact it seems they want to be all things for all people.. And its just as wishy-washy as Nasal Ed ! All 3 of them are carp...

Alex Stepney did it a few weeks later than Shilton for Manure - But not against Saints.
