Well, we now know how United fans felt after our victory at OT. Credit where it's due, Swansea defended well - got a bit of luck when needed, but Williams was superb. Took their chances when they came. Tadic and Pelle both poor - the latter really starting to worry me with lack of goals. Need another striker ASAP. Tadic would be better off playing where JWP plays - he's wasted out wide. Reed was very good - game changed taking him off. Certainly one for the future and showing that we don't really miss Cork. Bertrand - deserved red card - reckless challenge which summed up a very poor performance from him - not overly convinced by him and last 4 goals conceded have come down his side of the pitch.

If every club took that view hardly any transfers would go through.

There is a Sky documentary about MLT being filmed as we speak - goes into his early life and career. Should be a good watch and help re-jig a few memories for people.

5th choice central midfielder at best when everyone is fit. Will be sad to see him go, great servant over 2 spells but another one (like Chaplow, Hooiveld etc) who the club have out-grown.

Not really bothered about either of them. Cork is out 5th choice (at best) central midfielder and Bertrand is a Chelsea player. We've had better players in each position and we'll have better in the future. Both are easily replaceable. Also. The article is the Mirror, they probably made it up like most journalists do.

I'm well aware of the rivalry, the Muratti is played every year and every sports fan on the Islands count down to it. Matt Le Tissier never played in the Muratti

We now only have 1 out of form striker and a youth player who's played 20 minutes of first team football. Yes, we've done well recently in terms of chances created/goals scored but this won't continue. People need to take their head out of the sand. Major problem IMO.

Again, depends on the definition of "kid" - he joined Saints at 16 after spending his whole youth career whilst at school with Vale Rec. Lead to believe that we didn't know too much about him before his trial at Oxford.

As has been reported in the press, several clubs are interested in JR, as his aget he'll be doing all he can to make sure his client gets the best deal he can. Moves to the clubs reported don't come along too often. If he tweets that JR is struggling (which we know he is) that could jepardise any move. All we really know is that he is likely to play football again, nobody on here knows when.
