  1. For a start he plays for Galatasary in Turkey  It's the same with the Russian league, I can't believe how this and possibly the Australian league hasn't been exposed more yet. The only example is when Bolton signed the Zenit defender Sebastien Puygrenier on loan and I believe he scored their 4000th league goal or something. Plenty of class players in Russia, I suppose a lot of the top class players have been bought now by Western European clubs (Zhirkov, Bilyaletdinov etc)
  2. can't install this due to a "memory violation"
  3. Avram Grant - a man who is still baffled as to why they hold the African Nations Cup in January. Of course a continental football tournament being held in Africa in the middle of the summer is a good idea, with the players playing in 50 degrees celsius. Why doesn't he go the whole hog and call for the next European Championships to be held in Finland in December?
  4. It was 4 with Nilsson up until recently

  8. Oh dear
  9. What may happen at the next election is a hung parliament and we may have a coalition running the country. Brown and Blair's leadership has been so totally gutless, all they've done is relied on spin and sunk their heads deeper into the sand. Blair just decided to go when he saw what was coming for dear Gordon. Love or hate her politics, our last strong leader was Maggie. She certainly could stick two fingers up at the yanks when she needed to.
  10. and unfortunately most people are, or don't know the correct procedure with which to reclaim money, which is why these dodgy firms do it. I can only go on this report but by the looks of it, if the clamping victims all took photos of the extreme conditions they were forced to abandon their cars in and of the covered up clamping warning signs and appealed Cobra wouldn't stand a chance IMO. "They left their cars at the pub where warning signs about the clamping operation had been covered by snow." I'm not certain, but I'm fairly sure that it is illegal for a wheel clamping company to clamp your car when warning signs are not visible. I would also encourage those drivers to check whether Cobra are registered with the SIA, because if Cobra aren't I'm pretty sure they are breaking the law clamping anyone's car. I've heard this scam done countless times over the years whenever snow has fallen
  11. I know it wouldn't happen but it makes me shudder if one day the entire wheel clamping industry got nationalised. Can you just imagine all the extra tax Gordon would be revelling in? If those people went about it the right way they should get their money back no problem
  12. Esbjerg SB in Denmark. Pards does come across very well in interviews. I think that is crucial to get the fans on his side. It was something that Burley was very bad at and it seemed to rub off on the team. We'd get totally outplayed by a team in the relegation zone and Burley would ramble on about what a quality side they are on their day and would just come up with excuse after excuse. Now he may well have been completely different when it came to the players but the fans saw very little or no evidence of it. We could only judge him when he was in front of the cameras and it does give the fans a lot of encouragement when the manager appears to share very similar concerns and comes across as someone who knows what their doing
  13. It's better than most of today's pop stars
  14. What do you reckon this means to Monza's future?
  15. Has John Part arrived yet then? That Japanese player looked half decent
  16. I certainly wasn't
  17. You don't seem to have cottoned on to the potential effect all this could have on the future of X Factor If this sort of protesting happens every year X Factor wont last much longer IMO
  18. Start the facebook campaign in 11 months and you never know. I looked at the rage facebook group earlier today and it just short of a million members
  19. The nation's schoolkids
  20. Roll on the TOTP Christmas special LOL
  21. I swear they use the same backing track for every X Factor single.
  22. listening to that x factor winner's song. I just can't help singing "and make it evergreen" when he gets to the end of the chorus. IMO I think this is the beginning of the end for the x factor. It's reached it's sell by date and I bet there'll be a similar campaign next year, and the year after that and the year after that. Too menay people are fed up with it now Anyone wanna guess which supermarket that Joe will be working for in a year's time?
  23. It's ROTM. That's me 60 quid better off lol
  24. Fairly obvious answer Orange balls are still used in matches where snow is on the pitch or is falling, so it shows up on the TV. I remember when Chelsea played Tromso in Norway in the UEFA cup in the late 90s and there was a blizzard at half time. They had to play the second half on snow. How it wasn't abandoned I will never know
  25. couldn't agree with you more, very underrated manager
