No, he's just signed for Burnley on loan

I don't personally, but the ones that voted 'for' were likely to be the leagues that are crying out for financial support. I heard on the grapevine that 4 or 5 BDO county leagues came within hours of going to the wall last year. On the other side of the coin I think there are concerns within leagues as to where Hearn and the PDC want to take the grass roots side of the game. Just one element is that before the takeover proceedings came about, there were rumours that the PDC were considering taking legal action against the BDO to drop the words "world" and "professional" from the title of the BDO Lakeside tournament. Besides the chances of it being a free vote were practically nil I suspect.
-
It was 56-8 against the takeover happening. However it's likely Croft twisted more than a few arms. . . .
-
only bad news from the players championship was the BDO (suprise suprise ) rejected the takeover approach from the PDC.
-
absolutely superb from Nicholson, him and Whitlock could be what gets darts going in Australia. Congratulations to the lad. First premier league night is pretty soon?
-
seriously mate, if you think that was bad, don't watch the BDO tournaments on the BBC. . .
-
last I heard they "expected to be able to pay them today"
-
same reason they can afford to bring in Riquelme Kezman would never go there anyway

Togo banned from next two African Nations

hm, and you have to ask who made that fateful decision. -
Togo banned from next two African Nations
JackFrost replied to Saintandy666's topic in General Sports
That's precisely the reasoning behind it. It's harsh considering the circumstances, but the rules are the rules. As I understood it, hours before the game, the Togo team decided they wanted to play in the tournament but the government ordered them home. -
not understanding you, first of all it's ok for Labour to be in power no matter how bad they are simply because they'll keep the Tories out, now their all as bad as each other  We'll get one of three things after the next election, 1) a Tory government with a slight majority, 2) or a hung parliament, meaning the government will have to be formed through a coalition of Labour, Tories or Lib Dems (I don't know this but I should think the vast majority will be made up of Labour and the Tories) meaning we'll effectively get a Tory government. 3) or Brown will make a miraculous recovery and secure Labour another term, meaning we get a Tory government that call themselves "New Labour" no wonder why a hell of a lot of people don't bother to vote.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/8489329.stm Kaboul to Spurs confirmed
-
hm The Independent have reported the Kaboul deal is already completed
-
Eh? He ran a Tory government that called themselves "New Labour". Watching him trying to defend the Iraq war has to be one of the most cringeworthy pieces of television for many years. Half of the justifications he is using now (and didn't use just before the invasion first happened) are illegal under international war. Him and Bush were one of the most dangerous world leaders in modern history. A pairing who condemned Iraq (and now Iran) as terrorist havens with mere speculation and fabricated evidence, whilst giving their whole backing and support to an apartheid-practising, despicable Israeli regime, whose human rights atrocities currently rivalled those committed under Saddam

I do feel genuinely sorry for Younes Kaboul at the moment. Public knowledge that his sale to spurs means the rest of the squad can receive their wages. He's probably feeling more awkward than the others at the moment

The FM guys are gonna have to keep a close eye on Pompey's playing squad in the next few weeks then There is going to be an exodus (if it hasn't already started) of pompey's first team. The embargo was only lifted so Pompey could have enough players to field a team for the remainder of the season it would feel. IMO the PL are going to do all they can to keep Pompey on a life support machine until the end of the season until their relegated, then hand the problem over. That's when the fun will gather a lot of pace IMO

i bet anyone who was advertising on their site isn't that best pleased at the moment either
