  1. New Zealand Police have announced that they have caught several Air NZ staff drink driving whilst on their way to work. One pilot, whom they still employ and he still flys, has several convictions, which he kept secret somehow although they have known since 2007. The head of the country's national airline is standing by one of his pilots who concealed from the company three drink-driving convictions. Air New Zealand pilot Warwick West had convictions for drink-driving in 1998, 2001 and 2007 and one further charge against him dropped in 2004, 3 News reported tonight. During that time he continued to fly and did not tell Air NZ or the Civil Aviation Authority of his offending. It was only when police tipped off both organisations after the 2007 conviction that they became aware. Tonight's revelation comes days after an internal police memo suggesting that there was a drinking culture among Air New Zealand staff was leaked to 3 News. The claim was vigorously denied by the airline http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/latest/6884238/air-nz-ceo-stands-by-drink-drive-pilot/ .
  2. I think that it is symptomatic of how things are in the World these days. People want it all and they want it now not in a year or twos time. As Dubai Phil and others have said anyway / anyhow so that they can manage to get more time in the hope that some mug will buy them. I still blame that woman registrar for all this.

  7. Well that 400 million is NZ dollars which equal approx 179 mill pounds BUT in that article it says pimpey owe 70 mill dollars which equals approx 31 mill pounds. I think Victor will have a bit of a shock coming and quite frankly I feel he is in the Pinnacle mold

  9. If an Arsenal player was accused of a bad tackle I bet Wenger would say he didn't see it. The team play good football but I can't stand Wenger.
  10. I have to go to work now but 2 websites here in NZ are:- http://nz.yahoo.com/ http://www.3news.co.nz/ Lucky for me where I live is approx 1000 feet above sea level and about 55 miles inland. Mind you it is in a very unstable part geologically speaking. .
  11. I just wonder how many blind spots there are with such small windows, could be a bit awkward at times.

  18. "We are all governed by money laundering provisions today and if I find something untoward I have to report it," Andronikou said. "Unfortunately money laundering is a description attached wherever there is money and irregularities." Asked if he had identified evidence of wrongdoing yet, he said: "I will not be drawn on that." That answer is not the responce that pompey will like, I would have thought a better answer for them would have been that "it is far to early to comment"
  19. Well he has been taking notice about how to run things from PFC
  20. Just had a silly thought It was only just over 3 weeks ago that people were noticing that the 10,000 post would happen and now it's on 18224 Also anyone else notice that Thakisin has lost a lot of money through the Thai legal system but still has billions left ? I wonder IF .... http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8538013.stm
  21. http://www.yikebike.com/site/gallery/video/yikebike-discovery-channel I think he should have used a crash helmet and also have a number plate ?
  22. I would really have a good laugh IF the Court said that all of the deals made since the presentation of that financial report were invalid as they were trading illegally. They get wound up there and then and all the directors , owners past and present loose lots of money Has it been proven that Chanrai is the owner ?, I mean has he passed the fit and proper PL test as I didn't think he could be the owner unless he passed ? Mind you after laughing I would then feel genuine sorrow for the ordinary club employees, and smaller creditors, as someone who has been made redundant a couple of times I know exactly how they will feel :( .
  23. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/61/198733004_cd24591bb9.jpg Here in NZ on TV3 this is a picture of Toni Marsh the weather presenter she is now just over 41 but still very tasty .
  24. That blog quoted above says Pompey can't sell players but I thought that it was shown somewhere on here that they could. However the new club couldn't register the player so he couldn't play until after the next transfer window opened
  25. Now there is an idea for a film :D Yes it has been done before and if I remember it had Joan Collins in it
