Never ever say anything via any communication device that you don't want to risk it being made public or you have to repeat it in a Court of Law. Even talking face to face is not very secure these days, in fact no method has been for a very very long time.

Ah but on the computer you can turn your microphone off but on these TVs?? As for the camera it is obvious when it is working and anyway I unplug mine from the computer when not used just to be safe. However on the TV will it be as obvious that the camera is on and how can you turn that microphone off? I understand that people can hack into webcams without you knowing hence my precautions.
