Last year we had a big clearout. Loads of players were released/not resigned if I remember correctly, yet we only bought 3 players in the summer.

Don't know why I don't want Hudds to go up. It's weird. I guess it's because they've been our rivals for the second half of the season for the autos, though we're not expected to go up automatically next year! Weird feeling.

Stephens will turn out to be a decent buy I reckon, if he is let off the leash like he was at Oldham, scoring long-rangers as a result. Has potential and will cost pennies, presumably. I'm still certain we will see another CM signed with higher quality. Dale is a good backup to have.
