  1. Lol. I do hope he signs but I'm not reading into any rumours/speculation anymore.
  2. We fixed Lallana's irregular heartbeat. I'm sure we can do the same for young Cork. C'mon Jack, you know it makes sense.
  3. So £440 for me. Bit on the pricey side but s'alright
  4. I still reckon AOC will stay this year. I'm not going to listen to any of the bull spouted by the media, as January proves, they know nothing.
  5. This thread has p*ssed me off no end.
  6. Blackpool.
  7. Woop. Good player, would be chuffed if we got him ahead of Burnley.
  8. He wouldn't have scraped if he was appointed earlier, but that's just my opinion.
  9. I've been shouted down by skates driving in vans whilst wandering around Winch in my Saints shirt. I was more than a tad confused until I saw the Pompey scarf in the back window. I suppose that's what happens when teams haven't been in the Prem for a while. Our old territory is less so than in say 2003.
  10. Gutted for Huddersfield, they were resilient during the run in, but they had too many draws and seem to have been a team to defend and hope for a goal on the break? Not a great strategy against Peterborough, but what is I suppose... Not sure we'll get CMS, there'll be alot of teams interested, West Ham (with their parachute payments) lower level PL clubs like Wolves. It'll be a tough auction.
  11. If we got CMS i'd be chuffed. He's like Barnard but with much more pace. I'll never forget seeing him burst past Seaborne, who was miles ahead of him at the time, and slot the ball past Davis.
  12. Love it! Cheers for the update hypo, shows how Cortese picked a manager that was not only talented, but could get on with him and had the same viewpoint and vision, too. Good stuff.
  13. Josh Wright. CM just left Scunny. Yes please.
  14. Zenden?!? That would be unreal! Wasn't he captain for Sunderland against West Ham? Scored, too. He'd be a quality acquisition and would be a real "statement of intent", to roll out an old cliche.
  15. Shame. Hopefully we got a tidy sum. Anthony Pilkington please.
  16. So basically we could do with selling Puncheon and Mills and maybe Seaborne?
  17. Last year we had a big clearout. Loads of players were released/not resigned if I remember correctly, yet we only bought 3 players in the summer.
  18. Lee Cook has been crippled by injuries and has no pace as a result. He's over the hill. No thank you, we should be aiming higher than him.
  19. Don't know why I don't want Hudds to go up. It's weird. I guess it's because they've been our rivals for the second half of the season for the autos, though we're not expected to go up automatically next year! Weird feeling.
  20. Half time score 2-1 to Huddersfield. Loanee Danny Ward fizzed in the second just before the half-time whistle... Don't really want Hudds to go up, we never do well at the Galpharm.
  21. Gotta love the guy. I think this deal is well deserved and although he might not be used as much, his experience will still be useful. And LOL@peoplethatmadethemselvesthinkthiswouldbemassivenewsandindoingsoensuredtheywouldbeunderwhelmedbyanynewsotherthananewkitorneweuropeandirector
  22. Stephens will turn out to be a decent buy I reckon, if he is let off the leash like he was at Oldham, scoring long-rangers as a result. Has potential and will cost pennies, presumably. I'm still certain we will see another CM signed with higher quality. Dale is a good backup to have.
