Two points for clarification from last nights game
Clunge replied to lifeintheslowlane's topic in The Saints
I thought Zaha was lucky not to get sent off towards the end of the second half, clearly swung an arm at Bertrand's face in the box during a little exchange between the two -
Get ready for more 'he doesn't get good enough service'...

Koeman says Mané was dropped due to discipline
Clunge replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The fact Mane was punished suggests he was at fault, it would be harsh to punish him if the situation was out of his control. Lesson learnt, hopefully over and done with. -
The constant comments about the service he receives baffle me, he receives decent service most of the time, he is either slow off the mark each time or he loses the aerial battle with the defender, service is not the problem, Pelle is the problem.

Time to drop Pelle and try something different

Pellé getting some stick from our fans.....fair or not?
Clunge replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
Firstly Pelle is massively important for the side right now and has been all season, however that doesn't make him a good player, we need someone to replace him if we are serious about pushing on in the summer. For the size of the bloke he wins no where near enough headers, he gets bullied far to easily. For those stating he would have more goals had it not been for the wood work, I dont get what your getting at?? Hitting the wood work means you've missed the target, you can dress it up as being unlucky or close, say what ever you want, the fact is he's missed the target, something he does way to often. He also takes way to long to make his mind up when under pressure ultimately losing possession because of indecision, when he isn't doing that he's playing first time balls to no one because he hasn't looked up and is just hitting and hoping basically. I'll support Pelle every time he puts the shirt on and as long as he gives 100%, but I dont get the fuss about the bloke. -
Post-Match Reaction: Queens Park Rangers 0-1 SAINTS
Clunge replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Problem with that role is that pelle needs to actually win some headers to hold possession, for the size of the bloke his ratio of winning headers is dreadful -
Toby by a country mile, Schneiderlin next then probably Wanyama for me.

Bought the game second hand to give it another chance, hated it even more then the first time round
-
As important to the side as he is he doesn't impress me still. He holds the ball up well sometimes but majority of time he loses possession with poor passes or indecision. He needs to many chances before actually even hitting the target, let alone scoring.
-
Sensible pricing by the club, I'm going but wouldn't have bothered had it been £20 or anything close to that.
-
Your probably find that the only people who are annoyed by the ending are lifes nosey neighbours.
-
Long - Reminds me of Ormerod, tries but just lacks quality Mane - Useless, everytime he gets ball you know the attack is about to break down, usually with him on the floor Alderweireld - Quality, snap him up asap if possible Tadic - I'm undecided, clearly off the boil at the moment, quickly becoming as annoying as Mane to be honest Pelle - Doesn't impress me, reminds me of Darren Bent, needs ten chances before he hits the target with one Gardos - I think he was signed in case Alderweireld deal didn't come off, not played enough to judge Forster - Clearly had ability, for 10m though he is making to many errors, not the best at coming for crosses either, flaps at loads Bertrand - Sign him up, more then adequate replacement for Shaw

I bought it but sold it after playing online for about 2 hours, horrendous gameplay and maps, the new booster jump thing is rubbish as well

Where's everyone having a drink before game?

When we went new year we just got the tickets at the station, no advance booking
-
I could be wrong here but when I travelled up to London last year for New Year's Eve at off peak times a group of us got a return train ticket from Eastleigh to Waterloo for about £13 each. When I checked online earlier the cheapest I can find is £183 for a group of 5. Has anyone got cheaper tickets then this? I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong??
-
It may just be me but has anyone else noticed that our crossing has been terrible recently? If we aren't hitting the first man its going far to long or even just straight out of play, last night was probably the worst I've seen it. We have even started playing these fancy short corners, not even bothering to cross the ball in.
-
I don't see this as a massive issue. Don't get me wrong I'm sure the bloke is talented but he is the head of a successful department, he doesn't do all the work himself. Its like any managerial/head of department/supervisory job, your just the face of the good work done below you most of the time.
-
Anyone got this on Xbox One yet? Worth the investment?
-
I want 5 tickets but only 2 of us are season holders so have to wait til Monday, hoping there'll be tickets left
-
I wouldn't say it's beneath is but my persona list of priorities in order would be League, FA Cup then League Cup.
-
Whats everyone make of FIFA 15 so far then? I like it but I'm finding defending horrendous, unless you 'park the bus' compromising your attacking ability it is so hard to not concede a goal. I'm only playing FUT by the way, don't know if different on seasons etc.

Gameplay is completely different, not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing at the moment...
