No I'm not and no I don't remember no Easter games in 2005. My point is, as you are probably aware, that Easter is like Christmas, traditionally a big deal for football, and to not be playing at all is just wrong. i remember playing on Good Friday then Easter Monday young fella

yeah, its bad enough there are no Saints / Prem games at Easter for the first time i can ever remember !

You can hear her clearly in the toilets in the Kingsland stand

Adrian Heath without a shadow of a doubt. Andy Ritchie at Oldham, League Cup, mid 80's, scored equaliser which meant we had to go and play on their plastic pitch, beaten before we got on the coach. Robbie Savage for virtually every game played against us ! I also give a special mention to Billy Davies at Derby and ref Roger (hows my perm) Millford for the above mentioned Oldham match where his watch stopped and we played on unto they scored :-(

Not sure why people want to get rid of Martina, he's a decent enough squad player. I agree about Mane, not sure anyone would meet the price we would want for him on current form, he's pretty woeful at present.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 Sunderland
beatlesaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Well I hope Sunderland go down, they have added nothing to the league for years and now Fat Sam has bought his tactical bag of tricks to them with time wasting, feigning injuries and generally doing anything they can to disrupt the game let them go down, actually just let Sam bugger off, his Bolton, Blackburn, West Ham and now Subderland team are no pleasure to watch. -
fkin right

Alex Chamberlain available in the summer?
beatlesaint replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
A no brainer really, yes all day long ! -
Great read that - as a Saints fan from Weymouth who has lived in Bournemouth for the past 20 years the Saints fan living in Poole has pretty much summed up my feelings and views. Ive never quite got over the dis-respect they showed when the then Mayor of Southampton was tragically killed and they treated the minutes silence with complete disdain at a time we were tryig to help them out ! Of course you arent allowed to point out that Southampton helped keep them afloat down in these 'ere parts..........

umm, oh dear, how sad, never mind ! Wonder if his France place will suffer by not playing regularly ?
-
Yep, posturing, self important little **** !

That **** Niall Quinn said before the match that Clattenburg was a top ref and you shouldn't make cheap shots at him......then he does that, gives a pen for a ball that grazes an elbow and Quinn now describes as so so harsh !!!!

Not sure you can compare Steve Williams and Matt Oakley in the same sentence, as players Williams was head and shoulders better than Oakley. -
40 year anniversary of Keegan signing for Saints
beatlesaint replied to CumbrianSaint's topic in The Saints
 yeah almost ! -
as its such a newsworthy topic at the moment it would be nice to think the club would do a bit of PR and drop the prices, even if it was only a token amount of 2 or 3 %. I do however expect that the prices will be frozen.

no, the spectacle you should have been watching was Clattenburg's ridiculous posturing, silly little poses and holding his watch as high in the air as he could to indicate he was adding on time. It's all about him when the cameras are around and of course where he has a history with us - Lallana, the Norwich penalty that Boruc saved, Saints asking for him not to ref our games, the Vic sending off barely six weeks ago - the only surprise was that he didn't give them a penalty near the end.

Just looking at Leicester's remaining fixtures, after Arsenal away next week they have not got a hard run in at all. They really should kick themselves if they win today and then balls it up !

Saints v West Ham Build Up - Game now Saturday 6th Feb 1730
beatlesaint replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Tired of West Ham bleating on full stop to be honest. -
Yes he has, bet Valencia fans are really happy they are being used as an experiment to see if he liked and suited management. Should have tested the water with Salford City !
