  1. Christ you are a cheery little soul, bet Christmas is great at your house ! ;-)
  2. Nearest he will get to managing a team in orange if it goes tits up at Everton.
  3. If true, and I dont doubt you, that should be a relief for those who fear mass exedous MK2 !
  4. said he didn't want the Everton job but they didn't believe him ;-)
  5. isnt Janssen the guy Poch was watching when people started wetting themselves about him watching Shane Long last week ?
  6. yeah I like the sound of him and if he wants to manage in England.......
  7. Ironic that he more or less said that in an interview about players leaving, something along the lines of money does not always equal the best career move. Umm
  8. that is typical Sun, scandalous tripe. Still as The Sun is banned in Liverpool nobody who cares will get to see it !
  9. Thats exactly what makes his decision to jump ship for them even more puzzling. Unless he's going to be honest and say he's going for the money quite what spin he can put on the move will be fascinating.
  10. He really needs to put a stop to these end of season interviews, they aren't doing him, the club or the supporters any good at all.
  11. what on earth are you talking about ? he hasn't actually done anything yet, no water has flowed under any bridge. I'll grant you it's only being held up by a weak looking blockade as far as we can tell but as someone suggested earlier the only person who knows for sure what's happening is Koeman himself. Everton haven't spoke to him, Saints haven't given permission, we are currently in a state of deadlock.
  12. Well I was totally taken in by Koeman, he appeared a man of his word and had principals. When he said he would be manager of Southampton next season I saw no reason to disbelieve him. And then he up sticks and ****s off to Everton.....Everton not even a top club which I could have just about accepted. To hell with the lot of them, I won't believe another word that comes out of a footballer/managers mouth. And I suggest the club dispense with the Les Reed end of season interview as it's making us a laughing stock.
  13. or they know he wont sign an extension so will be gone this time next year anyway. Being in Europe we are an even more attractive proposition for prospective managers. I dont buy this no ambition b/s - Forster and Virgil both spoke of it when signing long term deals and RK spoke of it too saying what the club want to achieve, the next level, would be difficult ! too difficult for him maybe ? who knows!
  14. if only this would come true
  15. Presumably if he decided he doesnt want to extend his contract here the club will give that permission rather than let him run his contract down, have all the uncertainty and unrest next season then go through all this next summer ?
  16. yes I am and I agree but that ain't ever gonna happen as a Saints supporter. We've been **** on ever since I can remember, going back to Guy Askham and his cronies.
  17. there is nothing he has said that isn't factually correct and nobody is saying RK hasn't done a great job.
  18. Whats that got to do with anything ? This guy is coming in like a Billy Big Balls trying to give the blue half of the city some great big lovely castle which is built on sand whilst Kat owns a club that is self funding, or that's the aim, and financially sound. Which would you rather have. For Everton's plans read Leeds and Pompey to name but two. the club survived before RK and will survive when he does leave, be it in the next few days or years.
  19. apparently it was confirmed as done at 7.34 this evening by a bunch of Scousers on Whats App !!!
  20. there hasn't been anything convincing since this all blew up 24hrs ago.
  21. nobody, but the point is if he wants a top job, Arsenal, Barcelona, Holland to name but three, one of which is almost certain to come up in the next year or two, why would he tie himself down in a new job now where he could easily damage his reputation as opposed to stay at a club where he has progressed for the past two years. the move to an Everton makes no sense when you can sit tight, enhance your reputation then take a top job with your stock as high as a kite ?
  22. Thankyou fir for your considered response, the point of which has obviously flown straight over the top of your head, simpleton !
  23. He hasn't gone so far
  24. Ok so just playing along for a second.....ignoring his record of honouring contracts and assuming he would be allowed to go because he won't extend his deal..... he goes to Everton, next summer Wenger steps down and Arsenal want Koeman who is one year into a three year deal at Goodison. What happens next ?
  25. He didn't have to wait long for that to happen then did he ?
