I thought at the time there was a rumour, one here anyway, that they had behaved in a manner that was not in keeping with looking after a group of kids whilst playing in a tournament in Europe, ie - they got ****ed up and word got back to the club..... But like i say that was on here I read that........

Home game vs West Ham moved to Saturday 6th February 5.30pm

I know, when Sky picked the game it was before the 3rd round of the FA Cup so potentially both teams could have been in the fourth round and both subject to a replay. Once again there is no consideration for the supporter. I give you the Arsenal game Boxing Day at 7.45 as a prime example of not giving a sod ! -

Only problem with that is that the club didnt change the fixture to cash in on TV revenue as you put it, Sky tell the clubs the games they are covering, end of, how it causes problems for club or supporter is of no concern to them. You cant blame Southampton for this one ! -

Knee injury -
What the hell is he basing the "fantastic footballer" bit on ? Nothing he has done at Southampton or Hull thats for sure !
-
He's been around enough to know what he's talking about. If they aren't good enough they aren't good enough, wether it's fitting with The Southampton Way or not. Nobody can have a production line that works every single year in football.

Is there something wrong with you ? what level of intelligence gets a kick out of making stuff like this up ?

Is losing to Saints really the last straw for Louis van Gaal ?

He will go when Derby knock them out the Cup on Friday night IMHO ! -
Yep, he would have been much better at Arsenal, Wenger would have known how to play him, LVG never really wanted him I don't think.
-
I think it's more likely a 2 + 2 = 5 case. Saints sign Charlie Austin which in journo world means Saints are looking to sell a striker. Who buys most Saints players these days ? Oh yeah........
-
He did before the match during the warm up at least, not sure about half time.
-
We aren't counting Liverpool in that are we ?
-
Cant argue with any of that

If you are like this about Ralph and co how the **** did you survive the Rupert Lowe regime ?
-
Reminds me of the Fabrice Fernandes story when he was still at Fulham. He kept getting wet at night and rang the club to solve the problem. Turned out his bedroom window was open and of course when it rained...... !!
-
Couldnt agree more, esp as he is a local lad, normally that gives a player a honeymoon period that lasts virtually all their career !
-
What has Vic done to warrant going straight back in to a team thats just won ? What has he contributed so much over the past couple of months ? Judge him on current form before you answer, not what he was like last season with Morgan by his side !

Before opening this thread i thought to myself if you had posted you would put us !

Confirmed: Caulker loan cancelled; Moves on loan to Liverpool
beatlesaint replied to Maggie May's topic in The Saints
you saw him against Liverpool in the League Cup game didnt you ? mind you so did Klopp presumably ! -
He will, Spurs are a bigger stepping stone than us, he will get a bigger job than them probably sooner rather than later. He will have as much loyalty to them as he did to us I reckon.
-
get your money on Watford and WBA then before their odds come tumbling down !
-
Thats pretty obvious but what qualifies as fit enough to last a whole game for a keeper ? You mean sharp enough do you ?
-
Well said. A little bit of brain power and its obvious what FF is saying, and he's right, unfortunately.
-
This is the guy dismissed as a joke signing isn't it ??

Very interesting first point about the fitness. It does worry me that we quickly run out of steam after the opening 20-30 minutes where we look pretty good, yesterday and Liverpool being a case in point. Take Tadic, in both those matches he has slaughtered the full back for 20 minutes then it all stops and he doesn't do it again. Why /
