Gardos looked on Saturday what he is, a player who hasnt played a top level game for over two years. He was surrounded by kids and reserves so was on a hiding to nothing. He didnt fill me with optimism that he will come good however but he cant be judged an that farce of a match really.

on Solent he basically took full responsibility for the defeat. He then rabbited on for another 5 mins saying virtually nothing but he did Erie at that is was on his shoulders.

After this coming week there should be no reason to rotate the squad and Puel must play his strongest team every single match. We have just League matches at mostly a rate of one a week, we have a 15 day rest before the EFL Cup which may prove to be too long so there is absolutely no excuse to carry on with 5,6,7 changes every match.
