  1. Saints v Man City - Sunday 30th December 2.15pm Plus the away game at Chelsea on 1st January is moved to the 2nd January, 7.45pm but not televised
  2. They have to have a certain number of test events (I think it's two) before they get given a safety certificate and can have a full stadium, so I imagine these test events will be U23 fixtures. Also, maybe the police and the club want the first fixture to be held at the weekend rather than on a weekday?
  3. It's pointless anyway. PwC have this ethnicity pay gap because more white people are in higher paid jobs. The only issue is where two people are getting paid differently for doing the exact same job.
  4. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/tottenham-hotspur-new-stadium-latest-13399612 Looks as if Tottenham's first game at their new stadium will be at home to Burnley on the 15th December, which means we'll be the last match for them at Wembley (5th December). We were the last team to beat them at WHL, could we be the last team to beat them at Wembley?
  5. The player performances have been the one constant over this period - awful. What will it take for you to realise that the problem is the poor quality of squad we have? The manager cannot be blamed for EVERYTHING and the poor players admonished of all blame. It's incredibly naive.
  6. Gunn's only recently arrived, it would be incredibly harsh and unfair to drop McCarthy, who has done nothing wrong this season at all. If we go on a decent cup run, I hope Gunn is still the goalkeeper in those latter, important matches.
  7. Gunn does look like a very good purchase, it's good that we do have two excellent options in that area. Hopefully we go for more young English players in the future, even if they do cost a little bit more.
  8. Did Stephens even travel up for the game? He hadn't been in the team so surely it wouldn't have come as a surprise that he wasn't included. Yoshida and Bednarek, out of the two I'd guess Yoshida.
  9. Subs were... Yoshida Davis Austin Ward-Prowse Armstrong Gunn Bednarek Out of them, the only one who had been starting regularly was Austin, can't see any of the others being frustrated to not being in the team.

    Gay cake

It's the common sense decision. If the bakers don't want to take people's money then they shouldn't be forced too. I'm sure there will be plenty of others nearby who would gladly take the person's owner, but you can't force people to do something if they choose not to. If the bakery in question chose to ban gay people from buying anything at all then that would of course be a very different story.
  11. Bounty
  12. Apparently we're interested in Sunderland's Josh Maja. So are Tottenham and Man City though. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/three-premier-league-clubs-reportedly-15256486
  13. Or we could do a West Brom and top the division
  14. Yeh that's definitely the worst of the lot. It was a desperate panic buy.
  15. EPL 20-10-2018 Bournemouth (A) - 1 point EPL 27-10-2018 Newcastle United (H) - 3 Points EPL 04-11-2018 Manchester City (A) - 0 Points EPL 10-11-2018 Watford (H) - 1 point EPL 24-11-2018 Fulham (A) - 3 points EPL 01-12-2018 Manchester United (H) - 1 point EPL 05-12-2018 Tottenham (A) - 0 Points EPL 08-12-2018 Cardiff (A) - 3 Points EPL 15-12-2018 Arsenal (H) - 0 Points EPL 22-12-2018 Huddersfield (A) - 3 points EPL 26-12-2018 West Ham (H) - 1 Point EPL 29-12-2018 Manchester City (H) - 0 Points We'll only win one of those home games IMO but we do have some favourable away games where we can win. We do better away from home anyway.
  16. Good luck with all the uni stuff mate
  17. Richardson was very effective in the Championship for us. Just need someone who can cross.
  18. Obviously we're all a bit annoyed but the funny thing is that we probably won't even get relegated this season. Huddersfield and Cardiff are definitely the weak links and I'd say Fulham and Newcastle will be below us too. Palace too don't look brilliant, Zaha on his own might just keep them up. I got mocked last season for saying we wouldn't go down and I'm going to say the same thing now - there are three worse teams than us.
  19. True, although we did sign VVD so I do wonder if we had signed Toby whether we'd have bought VVD too or not.
  20. What a load of utter ********. Why can't the club just be honest with the fans instead of treating us like morons?
  21. Just a complete ****show in all honesty. One bad transfer window I can accept, maybe two. But this has been going on for a long time - Summer 2016 - Sell Mané and Pelle, replaced by Redmond and/or Boufal and don't sign another striker, January 2017 - Sell Fonte and don't sign a replacement, then VVD gets injured and we're left with Yoshida and Stephens for the remainder of the season. Summer 2017 - Don't sign a striker when the whole world could see that we needed a target man. Austin gets injured again, surprise surprise, so we're instantly short. January 2018 - Use the VVD money to sign, for a record deal, a striker who never scored for us, only for us to loan him out six months later. Summer 2018 - All but one of our new recruits are now on the bench or out of the squad entirely, and sanction the sale of Tadic our most creative player. EMBARRASSING. The whole club is a complete mess. It starts right at the top. Krueger and Reed should resign.
