  1. We deserved to win really, but had we played like that in the first half I reckon we would have ended up winning it comfortably. Poor result in the scheme of things, so we need to get an away win from somewhere.
  2. Crouch coming on then. Lambert making early tactical changes, he's going to score. Get your money on it folks.
  3. Shame Pellegrino will only make that tactical change with 10 minutes left. 15 if we're really lucky and Pellegrino is feeling adventurous.
  4. Good, serves him right. Was a great challenge by Hoedt IMO anyway.
  5. 68% possession, Pellegrino will be thrilled.
  6. Give it to Tadic and hope he can go down convincingly in the box to buy us a penalty
  7. Tadic has been hopeless. Sims, Redmond and Carrillo have looked alright.
  8. It's essential that he starts IMO.
  9. Good to see Sims starting. Would've preferred Redmond dropped over JWP but hey ho, Redmond did OK last weekend. We've got to get at them early, if we can score in the first 15-20 minutes, I think we'll win. The longer it's 0-0, the more chance Stoke will get the points IMO.
  10. Including Long and Redmond is a funny one
  11. Man City would sign him. They need more English players, and he's young who Guardiola could improve. JWP's done better this season, yes he was poor last week, but his recent form has been excellent.
  12. The Stoke team are currently in the air as we speak (land at 5pm), so I'd suggest the game is on.
  13. I was going to say that Reading away game. I also remember one at Man City in the FA Cup a season or two before that, that was pretty cold as well.
  14. It's pretty difficult to work out what the broadcasters want and what the police will go along with. For example, very few people would've expected Liverpool to be playing at the exact same time as the Grand National, yet Merseyside Police have OK'd it.
  15. They were waiting until seeing if Swansea or Sheffield Wednesday got through. If Sheff Wed had won, their match would have been on the Sunday, since Sheffield United play at home on the Saturday. As Swansea got through, there are no scheduling issues and our game was able to be put on the Sunday.
  16. I’ll be joining you in smug mode In all fairness, there was a reason for it not being on any day! But we all agreed Saturday was the least likely date, so everyone was correct (to an extent)
  17. Crouch will have a field day against our centre backs
  18. Nope, confirmed for certain that it'll be on the Saturday at 3pm.
  19. The Leicester away game is on the same weekend as the FA Cup semi-finals, so that one could be moved as well.
  20. Arsenal v Southampton - Monday 9th April 8.00pm Southampton v Chelsea - Saturday 14th April 12.30pm https://www.premierleague.com/news/630012?sf183131188=1
  21. West Brom may as well just stick with Pardew and let him rebuild in the Championship.
  22. I'd rather we brought in their manager to be honest...
  23. Out of the things he has said this season, that ranks as one of the more sensible things he said. Maybe it was a translation error on his part, but my interpretation of what he was saying is that a last-minute equaliser felt as good as a win on the day.
  24. That game (them or Swansea against Tottenham) is likely to be on the Friday night. There will definitely a Sunday early afternoon slot as the one Sunday game so far doesn't start until 4.30pm (it wouldn't kick off so late if there wasn't another match before). I don't think there will be another Saturday game at all.
  25. In addition, it can't be Friday because Wigan play on the Wednesday night.
