  1. If we go behind early I think things will get pretty nasty. Certainly there should be lots of ‘sack the board’ chants
  2. I’m normally one for giving managers time, but we will go down unless we change the manager. Just someone with a basic knowledge of tactics will do.
  3. Draw is the best result for us. Or even a Stoke win, because I think Huddersfield will end up slipping down the table in the coming weeks.
  4. Everton fans are not happy at all. They’ll be OK because, as I posted in another thread, they have a really easy run of fixtures, but Allardyce won’t be there very long.
  5. Comfortably midtable is Puel. Back in the good old days. They’re doing us a favour by beating Watford atm.
  6. Arsenal seem to be at their best when they’re under a bit of pressure.
  7. If we lose tomorrow, and the club still stick with Pellegrino, then the focus must shift onto the board. If being in the relegation zone doesn’t make them wake up, then nothing will until we’re officially down.
  8. Palace losing 3-0 already!
  9. The Allardyce effect
  10. Despite how rubbish we are, we really should be beating dross at home like Brighton.
  11. Brighton have only scored in 2 of their last eight (in 45 minutes nine) league games. If we can’t beat them then there will be something seriously, seriously wrong.
  12. So Lloris is doubtful it seems. Their backup Vorm is pretty good though (if he ever wants first team football we should go for him)
  13. I know you weren’t keen on the idea but I reckon Strachan would be the ideal person, if we went down the short-term route. The comeback of older British managers seems to be all the rage this season.
  14. I love Griffit’s passion for the club even though he was never more than a bit part player for us, but his ‘snippets’ this window have not been particularly reliable, so we shall see. Only person from PSG I can think of is Ben Arfa. I’m sure Puel said he tried to sign him, so we’ll see I guess.
  15. Pellegrino’s still here unfortunately
  16. I’d like to know why he’s off to some fancy do in Bristol at a crucial time of the transfer window.
  17. Technically he’s right, our last game against a top 6 side, we got a point and a clean sheet.
  18. http://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/guido-carillo-southampton-propose-20-millions-1353771.html An update from RMC (Radio Monte-Carlo). We’ve made a 20 million euro bid. The player’s father is in Monaco leading negotiations apparently. They won’t let him leave until they find a replacement. We’ll be lucky to sign him before the Brighton game IMO.
  19. They can bugger off then and form their own super league. Unfortunately for them, that’s something that their own supporters in this country don’t want. I guess it depends if they prioritise their overseas fanbase or their homegrown one.
  20. Jesus that is mental. I really hope the bubble bursts. A lot of insiders seem to think there is no way Sky will fork out what they did last time, and BT will be just happy to retain their existing packages. So unless Facebook and Amazon come in, the new TV rights deal will be worth less. Good news.
  21. And they complained about the dull defensive football and the naive tactics employed. Anyone with google could've looked that up. But not those responsible for employing him...
  22. I think a simple "red card" protest in the stadium would work the best. Simplicity is the key - Guan's posters would work best for a social media campaign rather than something do be done inside the stadium.
  23. We might be interested in Promes, but is he interested in us?
  24. I’m more concerned about the Liverpool game in all honesty. I don’t hate Spurs, but that Liverpool game will be painful.
