  1. In all honesty, I think what the poster put will be proven as true. But when someone pointed out, reasonably in my opinion, that what he said was open ended, bizarrely he threw a hissy fit. It was the overwhelming sense of entitlement that annoyed people.
  2. Erm, that is more or less what I said
  3. Late Liverpool goal! Was tempted by the 8/1 in play bet just after Burnley equalised, didn’t go for it unfortunately
  4. Liverlol concede late at Burnley
  5. Stoke fans are very unhappy (more so than normal), surely Hughes will go after this. No Prem games for a little while so ideal time for clubs to make a change.
  6. Huddersfield losing, good news as it stands
  7. So we want a win for Leicester and a draw between Stoke and Newcastle. And a win for Burnley so we can laugh at Liverpool.
  8. Being skeptical isn’t being abusive. K Billy, Guan, LeG never get people questioning things. Why? Because they are reliable. If someone posts something then how can we know it can be trusted? Hobbit didn’t say it wasn’t true, simply that it was quite vague and open ended. Being trusted is earned. Until then, it’s perfectly acceptable to be skeptical of unconfirmed information on the internet. If you want to blindly believe it then that’s your choice.
  9. Where exactly has my opinion changed? I’ve always been consistent that I’ve considered Puel a very good manager and Silva an overrated one.
  10. Hobbit’s post was pretty reasonable I thought.
  11. Oh dear, another so-called ‘ITK’ who has a dreadful sense of entitlement on this forum. Until what you’ve posted can be proven true (or false), it’s pretty reasonable for people to be skeptical.
  12. I thought he did OK when he played at Bournemouth. Maybe Leicester will sign him
  13. Maybe VVD was a cancer at the club. Palace will be the deciding game. Lose or draw and Pellegrino has to go.
  14. We had Richard Wright on loan during the relegation battle in 07-08. He made a number of crucial saves.
  15. This is the most important game of the season. Anything less than three points would be very disappointing. The fans in the stadium need to up their game, because the atmosphere has been really poor at home recently.
  16. That depends what his motivations are. If he’s happy to pick up a decent wage but not play, he will be hard to sell. If he wants first team football and is willing to reduce his wages then it’ll be easier. If we were looking to sell him, we’d be looking, at a minimum, of recouping what we paid for him, and probably more. So that would be the biggest sticking point. In any case, it’s probably too early to think about his future. But if he isn’t playing by the end of the season then I can’t imagine him wanting to stick around as a number 2.
  17. He had a good game. Hopefully that will give both him and the defence a much needed confidence boost. Where does this leave Forster though? Will he work hard on the training ground to force his way back into the team? Or will he look to leave in this window or the next one?
  18. We have to follow this up by beating Palace, and hopefully a consecutive clean sheet. I would really like us to get two early goals and just control the game in a boring manner. Is that too much to ask for?
  19. Defensively we played well. A better team going forward would have won that. However, you’d take a point away at Man Utd all day long. I’m sure someone will come along shortly to remind us how long ago since we last won in the league against a top 6 side
  20. Man Utd haven’t played that well though. I’d take 0-0.
  21. That is the main worry. We need to stop the crosses coming in the first place
  22. OK I guess Please get Gabbiadini on
  23. Marco Silva
  24. Why Long? Why? He’s useless
  25. I’d say a pretty good set of results at the moment (an Everton goal and a Burnley goal would be good though)
