  1. Something about karma coming back to bite him on the arse or something like that...
  2. Definitely agree with this. They can't handle it at all.
  3. Exactly. I don't agree with it and think they should be more patient (perhaps the harshest sacking was that of Ancelotti) but Abramovich isn't going to change and they consistently win trophies so it clearly works.
  4. Lallana getting sent off for Liverpool U23s
  5. Watford look OK with the new manager in charge. More defensively solid for sure.
  6. Crooks has a bizarre crusade against players with silly haircuts. The BBC, out of any media outlet, have the worst pundits by far.
  7. Imagine the scenes if VVD (or Lovren) were to concede a last minute penalty next weekend
  8. We'll get something from one or two games of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. Stoke and Bournemouth at home are must wins, no excuses. A couple of away wins at the teams around us and job done.
  9. Hope they bottle it next week too.
  10. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
  11. VVD conceding a last minute penalty!
  12. When were West Ham last in the Champions League?
  13. Same tactics please that were successfully implemented against Tottenham at home.
  14. We won because we were positive, and we attacked with purpose. The manager picked an attacking lineup and he deserves credit for that. But one game isn't enough, there's still a long way to go. But yes, he has bought himself some time for sure.
  15. The same could be said for VVD marking Stephens...
  16. My bet is Brighton or Newcastle, Huddersfield and West Brom. It'll go down to goal difference I reckon.
  17. Over on POL, they were beginning to have a lengthy thread about our relegation worries. Nobody's posted in it since 2pm today, I can't think why...
  18. I very much doubt it. Even if he were to get sacked, plenty of Championship sides would take him in a heartbeat.
  19. Long played well against Watford when out wide on the right. I think that's his best position. Davis definitely needs to be sold in the summer.
  20. Sanchez is an upgrade though. Same age too. Win win for both teams really - Arsenal get rid of a player who didn't want to be there and now have someone who does.
  21. Allardyce is a great manager though
  22. On their day, they are a very, very good side. If we play like we did at home to Spurs, there is no reason why we can't get something from this game. But it'll be a toughie. At least winning today has taken the pressure off this one somewhat. And after that match, we have a very nice run of fixtures coming up which will define our destiny. I won't be judging Pellegrino on this one. I reckon we'll lose, 3-1.
  23. Oh god, I would love it if we smashed them. VVD/Lovren own goal would be nice.
  24. He had a good game. Caused them problems, had a couple of decent chances. I think he'll be decent for us.
  25. He gets a bit more time. Obviously Liverpool is a free hit, and we tend to perform well against the bigger teams, but after that, we have a run of fixtures that is absolutely massive. I hope that this result gives both the players and the manager the confidence and belief that we can win against the teams around us.
