That was the biggest disappointment. It wasn't like Watford peppered the goal with shot after shot, it was our own problems that cost us. And on paper, at least, we should at the very least be able to match teams like that.
I was against the decision to sack Puel but turning on our own fans won't solve anything, and turning on our own manager after his first league defeat won't solve anything either.
I said last season that the players were to blame (and those responsible for bringing them in...) and I haven't seen anything that has made me change my stance.
It's so obvious that we lack an attacking midfield player. And now we have to wait until January to rectify this error when we should've got someone in months ago.
At least under Puel we created decent chances. We can't even do that now.
Lemina must come on in the second half. It is only 1-0, thankfully, so a good result is still possible.
