  1. Glasgow and alpine's summer meltdown means we'll be fine.
  2. This is the latest news on Armstrong https://ninetyminutesonline.com/brendan-rodgers-tells-celtic-star-leave-next-summer/ As he is out of contract next year, he shouldn't be too expensive. And you'd like to think we're more attractive for a player than West Brom or Brighton
  3. He'll be another West Ham flop
  4. No Jay Rodriguez either
  5. In the past two seasons, we've finished above the team who had won the league the season previous.
  6. Even you don't believe that is true.
  7. So someone on twitter has posted a photo of VVD at Disneyland. That could mean two things - PSG are in for him... or is he meeting Pompey's new owner for a shock move?
  8. VFTT is one of those who is pretty reliable when it comes to little snippets of info.
  9. I always considered him a D!ck
  10. Lost 2-1 at home to Bournemouth. Not that they bothered to turn up to see a Premier League team.
  11. That's why we won't sell him. We identify our targets almost a year in advance.
  12. If he was off, he wouldn't have travelled. Maybe he suffered the most from this virus, who knows.
  13. I hope MLG updates Southampton's rivals on FM accordingly. Got to be at least 75, surely.
  14. Perhaps someone needs to remind VVD how many trophies Lallana, Lovren etc. have won at Liverpool
  15. Liverpool is the self pity city. It's a well-known fact. Not to mention having a ridiculous accent.
  16. I reckon the other top 5 clubs, particularly Man Utd, would have pushed for it too. They certainly have the influence.
  17. I think we need to get the Northam to start chanting "Free Philippe Coutinho" to the song of Free Nelson Mandela
  18. Exactly. We know VVD is not a man of his word. If another club enters the fray and really wants him, and can offer more money, then he'll choose them instead. Simple.
  19. Why would he turn down Man Utd? If they came in for him, he'd be off there. It just so happens that Man Utd, when conducting their transfer business, do so in a respectful matter, rather than Liverpool's sly approach. But they could have their pick of any player in the Premier League, and have the finances to better anything Liverpool could offer. Man Utd is a bigger club than Liverpool, so of course VVD would opt for them. But as Man Utd have already spent big on a defender, they're not in the race.
  20. OK, here's a thought... Who would accept £50M plus Dejan Lovren coming back? Let's assume that Klopp has told Lovren that he doesn't feature in his plans and VVD is his replacement.
  21. His agent needs to get a move on. The club have told Wasserman the figure that will be accepted, so he needs to get his skates on and find a club that is willing to pay.
  22. I can claim to be the first one to have acknowledged that Tom was correct. It still doesn't hurt to be sceptical though And given that Tom had been completely wrong on this very topic only a few weeks ago, people had every right to be sceptical.
  23. Maybe he was just upset that Puel was sacked...
