  1. If that is the team I like it. 4-3-3 pretty much. When Djenepo has ventured forward, Salisu can cover left back and one of the CMs can cover in defence. Think tactically that could work well for us
  2. Anyone got a ladder and some binoculars
  3. That's him, Vardy and Perez all guaranteed a goal against us. Ah well, will be a fun day out hopefully. Worth going for the Rooney chants in any case
  4. Ralph wasn't scared to play Ramsay Obafemi etc. when he first joined. Not out of the question he could come in
  5. I think it takes the pressure off the young players personally.
  6. I'm reserving judgement until the World Cup break. If it looks like we haven't improved from last season by then, I'd consider our options, maybe at the end of the season if we end up 15th again. If we're in the bottom 3 after the Liverpool game, definitely sack him.
  7. Sounds a bit like us when Koeman took over. If they're smart, they'll sell and bring in someone else with the money
  8. Yeah, catch 22. As we are so poor defensively, better to go with the formation that makes us somewhat decent in attack. They've conceded the same amount of goals we have so we can hurt them, may as well go for it. Will be fun that's for sure.
  9. Not sure if you're trolling but I'll bite - the equaliser all came about from when Che held it brilliant from a Bazunu long ball.
  10. What fallout?? All it looked like to me was a tactical discussion between our coaching staff, something which wouldn't have happened last season. Ralph's got people he can trust, so big positive for me.
  11. Immediate subs made a difference. Usually we're crap at coming from behind, especially at home, but you could see there was energy and belief once we switched formation and started to hurt them, and the fans felt that too for sure.
  12. They're still a decent team. Will be tough. We've got to massively improve defensively to get anything here.
  13. Nigel Adkins ahead of his time, he used Lambert off the bench to great effect, against Man City and his final game at Chelsea
  14. Just got back from the game. First half was fairly even, nothing between the teams, other than a chance Leeds probably should've scored. To concede immediately after half-time is really, really poor. And at 2-0 you think it's game over. We looked so much better when Armstrong, Aribo and Mara came on. I can see the logic with the 5-3-2, we have conceded too many goals and Ralph had to try to change it. But all it has achieved is made us weaker in attack, and we're still shit at defending. It's simply got to go, it doesn't work, and those last 20 minutes show that.
  15. Yeah and funnily enough I was right then as well. I do miss the days when literally everyone hated Pellegrino. The last time the fan base was united
  16. Exactly my view. We needed a squad rebuild and clearly some players aren't part of the plan. Some of them shouldn't be, quite frankly.
  17. Many of the players are stealing a living here. If Ralph has pissed them off, GOOD! I back Ralph over the players all day long.
  18. I wish they'd have got a player there as well
  19. Ralph's been honest, his direct style will rub people up the wrong way but at least he's not being wishy washy Martin has been a bit too confrontational and defensive for me. Toby gave a poor response to the away fans issue, basically dismissing it as not a problem, when it obviously is.
  20. Good last question, I'm not happy with this "let's just stay in the league" stuff
  21. Last question about JWP testimonial
  22. I'm still convinced there are more than 3 teams that will finish below us. I reckon we'll be OK once Ralph sorts out some of the tactical issues and we get out of this rut.
  23. And asking a question that let's be honest most people don't really care about
