Keep it at 0-0 for as long as possible. Bring on Adams and both Armstrongs in the second half. Grab a late winner. You heard it here first
-
Yeah. You can see him and Long know what they want to do i.e. they still have excellent footballing brains. But the ability is gone sadly

Walcott starting... 😨

I fucking hate West Ham. Horrible club with a set of fans to match.
-
Maybe Rupert Lowe is making a comeback
-
Excellent. Maybe the Brentford postponement came at a good time. We tend to do better when Ralph has had a chance to work on the training ground with the players.
-
A case of no news is good news?
-
Rory Delap I feel for Stoke was so effective partly down to reputation, they struck the fear of god into the defending team. Salisu has the opposite effect. Bin them off immediately.
-
We can't do any worse than any of our recent visits there.

Just had a look at Palace twitter comments, one person said we were the best team they've played at Selhurst this season. Think they seem happy with the point considering how the game panned out.
-
Draw was a fair result. We were awful first 15-20 mins; then we were well on top. I really wish we'd push on and make our advantage count. Under Adkins, something we were really, really good at was scoring two goals quite quickly, we'd take the lead and then get another. That's the one thing missing from our game, because I think with that 2 goal lead, our defenders would be a lot calmer.
-
Utter utter nonsense. We were well worth our half-time lead, no luck involved at all. And you can blame the tactics but it's those tactics that gets us into leads in the first place. Shows we're not a million miles off where we could be, just need to be bit better defensively. Personally I think had we been more clinical and got a third when we were on top, we'd have won that game. It'll come good this season, I'm pretty sure about that.

I know a few Brentford fans as I live in these parts, so please win Saints.
-
Seen it on Twitter. Not today. Maybe it was someone on the wind up, who knows.
-
Right, let's just be completely clear here. I don't think Ralph is the problem. My point is that IF we were to make a change, going for a manager with the same style would be pointless.
-
On that list, Nuno by a country mile.
-
I don't want us to sack Ralph at all, I think it would be a disastrous decision. Hence the word 'if'
-
Van Dijk was injured from January onwards, and Fonte left then as well. We weren't very good going forward but we didn't concede many.
-
I wish that were the case
-
If we did sack Ralph I'd bring back Puel personally. No, not on the wind up, he'd get our defence in order at least.
-
Exactly. Some people are totally deluded. Koeman will not come back here, Lampard would be hilarious in how bad it would be (you think our defending now is bad). Anyone else would probably hold out for a better opportunity. Then you've got morons who genuinely think Allardyce (relegated last season) would be a good option. The fact is, until we get new owners who invest properly in the playing team, we are where we are. Personally I think we should be doing better in the league and the two home draws were poor results but enough to sack Ralph? Absolutely not.
-
Exactly. It would be a completely different story if we were playing like this having spunked on £30m players.
-
We'll be fine anyway, we're not going down. I imagine we'll draw at Palace and we'll beat Brentford (who aren't that great)
-
We've not been competitive since we sacked Puel, and the only spell we have looked relatively decent is under Ralph. I'd rather trust Ralph than some of the names being bandied about... Lampard, come on, he can't coach a defence. There's a reason Norwich turned him down...
-
Bad performance. Players gave up. Need investment so we can sack most of them off. Keep Ralph, he isn't the problem.
