What p1sses me off most about MOST England fans it seems, is when ever there is a new young player breaking into the first team.... everyone believes the hype and that he's the next big thing thing. This is all well and good, but you know that 10 years later when the England team are underperforming, the same player will be the one getting booed. Why we only feel the need to support the young players is beyond me. It's embarrasing after a poor world cup when all the fans claim all our better players need to be dropped from the squad completely.

All the Capello bashing is as embarrasing as when our media and fans make out a new manager (or young player, for that matter) is the messiah.

We're just helping them out again that's all. Bless 'em.

Just heard from my mate Tom Artowe who is involved with the boardroom at Plymouth, that this may be happening.

Went to my first match at 6 years old. Can't remember much apart from thinking the stadium was "cool". I ended up going to all the games on my own as a kid. Mum would drop me off and pick me up from the the young saints club. This got me interested in Saints as I was going to all the games, BUT I could also muck around with the other nippers. Also, I give full credit to my Dad. He doesn't even like football really, and there was one time when I decided I was going to support Man United because they win more and my mates did. He wouldn't have any of it and I got a telling off for even contemplating the idea. He may not be a football fan, but atleast he made me support my local team!

Few weeks ago on the M27, I pulled into the fast lane from the middle lane. There was a car about 50 metres back in the fast lane so it was "safe" to do so. However, this car (another beemer!) put his foot down and must have been doing about 120 and swfitly caught up, only to tailgate me by a matter of inches whilst shouting and swearing. I was easily over taking the middle lane and going about 90! However, purely because of his moronic reaction, I did not pull back in and slowed down to f**k him off even more. He was livid, whilst I was waving at him and laughing in my rear view mirror. Eventually he pulled in to the middle lane to undertake. What did I do? Speed up Eventually I let him undertake and while we were "level" he was hanging out his window, going red in the face and giving the usual hand gestures. I responded by laughing and showing him my nipple.

I always like these threads because it shows up the people who take t'innernet really seriously!
