As said above. In our first season under Liebherr we lost £7,000,000. I would have thought it would be about the same again last season. I can't see the Liebherr's settling for mediocrity in the championship having spent around £15,000,000 on operating the club over two seasons and the coat to buy the club and pay the debts. I think it will be a case of strengthen the spine of the squad this summer and establish in the championship with a settled squad then make serious push for promotion following season. I think this is more of a long term vision tbh. i.e Academy responsible for half of our first team in years to come etc. I think NC is well aware that to get to where the club could break even yearly (Prem) then money has to be spent getting there.
