  1. Me. William, Olive Tree, Tavern etc Always an amazing day out. Absolute carnage drinking session. Pubs having a 'cooling off period' between 5 and 6... place your bets when the police will roll into town in the evening and shut the town down. Last year was 10:30 - I suspect this year will be similar. My old dear has booked a taxi back for 12:15am, I would guess that is rather ambitious.
  2. You do talk some rubbish. What evidence do you have that we are running at a hefty loss? Our JPT run and P*rtsmouth game has more than made up for what we lost in TV revenue in comparison to a Championship side. In every other way, we have a top half Championship revenue.
  3. Just a reminder to you folk that Romsey opens its doors to all you c*nts tonight and tommorow for the annual carnage p!ss up that is the Beggars Fair. How many of you infidels shall be making an appearance? http://www.beggars-fair.org.uk/site/
  4. I am on the iPhone now. Unfortunately unable to post unless on a break. Don't worry though, normal service resumes tommorow.
  5. I am still here. Chilworth Manor for the last 2 days, process meetings. No access to Internet. Yawn. Don't worry about me though. Love you xxx
  6. ANy reply yet?
  7. Game back on. I am such a stud.
  8. Obviously depends on what division. £25 for a ticket in the Northam for me this season is too much from a value for money and cost justification... I will probably do 6 games, if it was nearer £20 I would have probably been nearer 10-12 I certainly don't think many people will do the 15 game 'break even' point to make up for the lack of season tickets.
  9. I get bored easy, this is true. Luckily being the stud I am, it's not long before the next bird comes along wanting to some Stuey loving.
  10. You've obviously not put much thought into things when getting into a relationship. Either that or you are gay so have not been affected by this.
  11. Yes, I never didn't say we never had a Championship expenditure, what I was trying to point out is that infact, we are probably living within our means. Our gates are top half Championship, our ticket prices are top half Championship, TV income last season that we lost in comparison to clubs in the CCC was more than offset by the JPT and FA Cup runs, our sponsorship from last season was also already negotiated with Flybe at a fixed rate so sponsorship revenue was not affected significantly. In every way apart from league position, we are a decent level Championship team, it is no wonder we have Championship level players, that's what our revenue dictated we could afford.
  12. Twice I have made you look stupid, twice rather than be a man, you have just refused to accept you were wrong. Like I said, when the accounts come out then we can see who is right and who is wrong. My gut feeling is we will be around evens, let's say, £1m either side. Most businesses after takeover run at a loss in the first year of a takeover... the company I am working with now are forecasting/targeting a £5m loss in year one of their 5 year plan... it's normal. Having said that, because of our cup runs and better than anticipated crowds, I think we are running pretty much close to self-sufficiant, and if you take away the summer transfers like Rickie etc... which you could argue form part of the initial purchase cost... I think we are definately running even/at a profit. Lastly, it is VERY clear to see with the add-ons all over the show and aggressive pricing policy, that the club are trying to maximise income again this season to ensure they are self-sufficiant. There you go Dulldays, a constructive post. We will wait for the accounts to come out now I guess...
  13. There is no point comparing us to Paultons, Legoland, Cinema or anything else, it's irrelevent... it's football. And compared to other football clubs in our league, we have the most expensive in the league, that is a fact. Personally although I think they are pricey, I don't think they are p!ss-taking yet... but the prices will put alot of people off.
  14. I think that is the point that Nick does not get. It is obvious that SFC is being built into a RyanAir model, with add-ons for everything, even parking at the stadium now! It is quite clear that as we rise through the leagues, we will be charged premium prices, either top, or more likely, 2nd or 3rd most expensive in the Champs, and top 6 stuff in the Prem. Some people are prepared to wait for it to happen, by then though, it will be too late...
  15. I think the point is, that's it is an amateur mistake... which suggests Cortese set the prices and not Luker ( I am 99% sure Luker didn't have any say in these prices/structure ) Regardless of the non-issue, the £2 surcharge is to encourage people to book in advance - and get a £3 surcharge..
  16. Like I said, I don't believe we were bankrolled last year. We have a decent championship turnover... that is clear as day to see. Let's just wait till the accounts come out Dulldays, then I can show you I was right and you were wrong... then you can ignore it like a little girl so you don't have to be the man and admit you were wrong.
  17. I will answer this nice and simple for you Dulldays. Championship wages. The thing you fail to grasp is last season we had a top 8 Championship revenue as well. We might be in League 1 by name, but our revenue is a decent Championship one.
  18. Our JPT run would have earnt us AT LEAST an extra £2million - Covering all of the summer transfers. Add the extra £500k from the skates game... there's the transfers almost paid for. The training ground has been delayed due to Corteses arrogance, no money has been passed that I am aware. Anyone who thinks we have been bankrolled this year are the ones that are laughable.
  19. As I said before... You can't compare them for anything more than engagement with supporters because running a PLC and being bankrolled by a billionaire are two completely different jobs. When it comes to respect and engagement with supporters, Lowe wins hands down.
  20. Who knows, they are doing 2 completely different jobs. You can't compare them. What would Cortese be like running a PLC? What would Lowe have been like if he had the financial backing Cortese has? You can't compare. You can only compare how they treat/respect supporters, and Lowe ( as much as I didn't like him ) was 100 times better than Cortese on that front.
  21. I think Lowe prefers carpets and Cortese prefers laminate. That's the main difference I think.
  22. You completely ignored the fact that everyones main selling period has been over and now tickets are charged at a premium, so your figures where not comparable as thanks to our tenant from hell Mr Cortese, he didn't bother his @rse to put our tickets on sale until most clubs had finished selling the majority of theirs.
  23. I fully expect the club to phone and offer me a job. When they have less than 10,000 home fans through the gate against Daggers, I can say to everyone 'I told you so' ? :-)
  24. Not just that, but he conveniently left out the early bird prices of all the clubs in his figures, which is their main selling window. You can't try and build a case saying our prices are competitive using cherry picked figures and ignoring other clubs main selling price ( early bird ) . I think it was more of a case of him trying to have another obsessed pop at me, but he has failed and made himself look like a bit of a troll. We have the most expensive match tickets in the league, we won't be far off having the most expensive tickets next season if we go up, and if we ever get to the Prem, we will be paying top 6 prices. Surely everyone can see this is the business model being constructed?
