  1. http://www.Zeag.co.uk On the sports caption, I couldn't find their product though. I will hunt the other link as well, I can't find it.
  2. Can you appreciate that there will be some people who will be dissapointed at the lack of a Ted Bates Trophy and appreciate their reasons why? Yes or No?
  3. You are having a real pedantic view, failing to understand and see SFC from other peoples eyes. Of course I want Saints to win games, but in the grand scheme of things, from a selfish personal point of view, I would prefer us to stay in the Championship, the prices are better, the grounds are better, the atmosphere is better etc... I am far from alone in that view. If Saints got to the Premiership again, I and many others would not go to every game, picking and choosing the odd game. Yes we will be replaced by corporate customers and neutrals etc, but it doesn't get away from the fact that some/alot of people want value for money. Paying £50 for 90 minutes is not value for money. However, in the Champ/League 1, paying £25 is alot easier to warrant spending the money... so it attracts a completely different customer base. Can you not appreciate that not everyone want Saints in the Prem?
  4. Also worth noting that the company supplied the car park machines also do card reading automatic turnstiles and smart-card systems... ... could well be the next extras as I predicted a few weeks ago.
  5. Yes. Because to be the best you have to play the best. And it's a memorial to the greatest servant to Southampton FC in our 125 year history, in the year that his wife, another loyal servant to SFC passed away. I appreciate the fact you might not be bothered, I also appreciate the fact that many people will find it wrong that the club have pulled it. Can you accept that some people won't be bothered about it and some people will? And neither set of fans are wrong?
  6. Hang on Benjii, you are on the thread giving your misinformed opinions... giving justification to charging for demand. I will ask you again, apart from a matchday ( which I don't see how they can charge for ) - How many times has the car park been in demand? I have NEVER seen it even half full on a non-matchday. So what's this 'demand' you speak of?
  7. Our Prem season ticket prices were very very reasonable. Not the 'Chelsea prices' that P*mpey fans were paying. I think even someone as simple as you can realise that 'Chelsea prices' is exactly where we are heading too if we get in the Premiership.
  8. When have you ever seen the car park full on a non-matchday?
  9. I have no interest in Saints being in the Premiership. I know loads of people that feel the same. You honestly seem to think that the only type of supporter is one that wants to pay whatever it takes for Saints to challenge in the Premiership? If the costs are too high, the majority supporters won't turn up. That is a fact. In the prem to some extent they may be replace by corporate customers, neutrals, away supporters or PAYG fans. Why are P*mpey going to end up with more season ticket holders this year than they did last year in the Premiership? Why will they probably have a higher attendances? Answer - Because their prices are realistic again now and there is more value for money in the CCC Listen pal, I am saying that there is many different types of supporter. Are you telling me there is only one?
  10. Yes, I do think there should be a memorial match which became an SFC tradition. Some people won't care, plenty of people do... but no doubt you won't appreciate that, because your way of supporting SFC is the only way isn't it? 3 weeks away from the only free Saturday. They have tickets on sale for every other match up until October. Do you think it's likely the club are going to have one pre-season? Anyway, I am not getting into another debate with trolls like you who will dissagree with anything I say just for the sake of it.
  11. I think we can safely say that there is absolutely no chance of Cortese employing a DoF... it seems he wants to be the centre piece of everything.
  12. I tasked someone with emailing the club about TBT and was told " I am afraid there is no news about a Ted Bates Trophy Match " If they had any intention then I am sure the reply would have been different.
  13. Firstly, the anniversary shirt is not a gesture ffs, it is a commercial decision! The extra revenue created from having a 1 year 'unique' kit is massively beneficial to the club. And by making it completely different to the normal kit, they will get repeat business next season. Secondly, I imagine the real reason for the lack of the game is that is generated little revenue as most European teams command a 'fee' which I very much doubt Cortese will bother paying, regardless of the meaning of the game and the fact Mary died only weeks ago. Lastly, I am speculating with figures, what I DO know is that every fan is different and has different ways of supporting SFC and different views on how much they will put up with from the club. Do you agree with that or not? How did I arrive at a figure of less than 10,000? Easy... because that's how many season ticket holders we are going to have.
  14. Mary Bates died the year, out of a mark of respect for her at least there should be a game this year. 3 weeks away from the empty date in the game, you would expect any normal club to have the tickets on sale now and the game announced... ... that leads us to believe either it won't happen, or once again the club are playing mind games with fans by delaying the announcement. If the club insist on never communicating with the fans then of course people will speculate and come up with their own theories, that is normal human behaviour. Luckily for them at the moment, there are alot of fans who will just sit back and wait for them not to communicate with the fans, however long it takes, before they start getting aggravated.
  15. Not sure if it was for planning, but there was SCC parking in the North Car Park, yes. I assume new company means no need to honour that agreement?
  16. It's how I deal with things, and anyway, she is firmly back as my feet on her knees, after realising that she made a terrible mistake ( by mutual consent )
  17. I wonder how many more 'charges' / removal of benefits / disrepecting the clubs history / lack of communication / contempt for fans etc before other supporters will stand up and ask what the f*ck is happening at SFC?
  18. The 2 this week don't actually count anyway, one of them I was just using and never had any intention of doing any more than poking whilst I was waiting for the one with the boyfriend to finish with him. The one with the boyfriend might well have agreed to terminate our contract ( by mutual consent ), but she has come crawling back and asking to stay tonight. So in my mind, I am still undefeated.
  19. Probably sue them for breach of copyright.
  20. Hotels are different, parking is an add-on to an overnight stay, the same way that luggage is an add-on to a ryanair flight, or breakfast in the morning is in a hotel. They wouldn't charge you £15 if you were popping in there to book a hotel for another night.
  21. On the last post, I think it is important that people understand there are many different ways of supporting a club. You are one of the "success at any cost" groups of fans. You want Southampton to get into the Premiership and be a major national force. For each one of you, there is as many, if not more that being in the Premiership is not on the list of priorities, let alone challenging for honours. With that comes costs... Cortese has put his markers out... "if you want Southampton to be in the Premiership, then it's you the fan that will pay for it, not Liebherr" , charging for just about everything they can get away with. This will be acceptable to the core support ( which make up the majority of the forum, but the minority away from it ) but others are happy in League 1/Championship and away from the costs and commercialism of the Premiership.
  22. Yes, that's an obvious one to be fair, stops football traffic etc using it as a free car park. But no supermarket or any business with their own parking facilities charge you to come and spend money in their business! Another strange move by the club imo.
  23. Editing quotes is the lowest form of with Turkey.
  24. The only revenue they could be targetting is corporate customers... and possibly people shopping / getting tickets. But to be fair, if they didn't put a 30 mins free option on there, it would be a monumental p!ss take, charging people to park in an empty car park to purchase goods from the club. It's like Asda charging customers to park in their car park. LOL I have no doubt though that if they do charge customers for parking there to shop, people will back Cortese and say there must be an innocent explanation!
  25. Didn't spend a penny, she bought/got me all the drinks ( to be honest I am not even sure if she did have to pay, I just know there was a proper bar at the back ) . And no, there was very few moments with me left as a lemon, she was too busy showing her hunk of a boyfriend off too all her family.
