  1. Easy. If you are caught in the street wearing one... £80 fine. Simple.
  2. Absolutely 100% YES, it should be banned.
  3. Oh.... Will have to pick a friendly farmers field in that case.
  4. I am camping on Friday night, somewhere between Calais and Fribourg. Farmers don't have the right to kill tresspassers in France do they?!?
  5. We now have our travel plans sorted. We are travelling through the night, leaving Friday evening, tents in the boot so if we can't get kip on our 'off-shifts' driving ( we have 4 now so going to do 2 people awake, 2 people asleep ) then we can find a field and grab a couple of zzzz's ( very army like ) , if we stop for the kip in a field then we will be there for lunch, if we go straight through then we'll be there in time for Brekkie! You have your phone on you Steveo?
  6. Are you staying in the Ibis in Fribourg on Saturday?
  7. 7,500 was a bit of an exaggeration. Its not just the installments though is it... there is another half a dozen or so reasons why people will not renew this year. I would strongly advise you to wait until the start of the season before calling me daft. :-) By the time the season starts, we will have around 9-10,000 season tickets. Slightly less than what we had last year ( half season tickets dont count at this stage ).
  8. I bought a speedboat when I was drunk, after a discussion in the pub about kayaks. True story.
  9. You would be very lucky if season ticket sales are half of 15000
  10. It did say £6 on alot of the beer price checking sites, Fribourg seems alot more 'local' prices you will be pleased to hear.
  11. Cheers. I will look into that. Whaqt's the beer prices like? I have been looking up and Interlaken seems massively expensive £5 a pint, in comparison to Fribourg £3 a pint.
  12. It would have been nicer if Mr Cortese could have given me a bit more notice so I don't have to drive the 2200km in less than 48 hours though as I couldn't get the time off work at this short notice. Pah Oh wait, Dulldays started kicking off saying I had no intention of going on the pre-season tour and was just saying it for the sake of it... Fell free to say sorry Dulldays.
  13. Just checked, is 27 euros for the tax on Swiss border and 49 euros in tolls. I need to find out if petrol is cheaper in Switzerland or France I guess. This is going to be a painful journey... 2200km roundtrip in a car for a pointless friendly.
  14. No response? There's a surprise. Edit: Just seen your reply. Hahahaha - Predictable.
  15. Didn't think about tolls... good point very well made.
  16. F*cking taxes, I bet that was Cortese's idea too.
  17. Ahhh yeah, cheers for that. I think we have decided to drive it, they do seem a bit pricey for a pikey like me. Gutted Mr Cortese, can't stop me from getting to the pre-season tour. Although driving to the Alps and back in a weekend probably won't end up the best idea I have ever had.
  18. This is what I have found. Leave Friday night, Dover-Calais, check into hotel in Rheims Drive down to Fribourg in the morning Drive back the next morning back home via Dover-Calais. Works out at £65 + Petrol. Not bad at all.
  19. Never been around Europe using their public transport... what are their trains like? Is it feasable to get a ferry and then a train to cut out the driving ( maximising drinking time ) If not, will I be able to get back to Bern after the game ( none of us will be fit to drive )
  20. Nope. And I won't be. :-)
  21. Cheap hotel in Fribourg anyone? Seriously, the dirtiest stinkiest hotel... I don't care, I'll only wet the bed and wake up in my own vomit so not bothered about cleanliness. Any reccomendations? Seems fookin hard to find one anywhere online.
  22. Is that with W L ? I might take that if I don't get a couple of other lads together, but early signs are we have a car load going over. So much for my Saints boycott. FFS
  23. Seriously tempted to make a show on Saturday for the game now. Gonna have a look into it I think... boat and train might work.
  24. We agree Johnny B. Being a mid-range Premier League team is about as realistic as it gets. The Academy is being restructured to make it a viable revenue stream. I am not sure why people fail to understand " The club will live within it's means " and what exactly that means for the club. What it means in very simple terms is the club will be self-sufficient. Academy players are part of the profits... which will be used to pay wages, transfers and operational costs. Forgetting the money as well, if a player wants to leave, they will leave. What Saints player do you know that has put in a transfer request and been told to sit down, shut up?
  25. The completely unrealistic fantasy world you live in know no bounds. Complete joke that you think in 10 years we will be the envy of European clubs. Absolute fantasy land. We will never consistently challenge the top 4, never. The most realistic we have hope for is being a Everton ( at a push ) level in terms of league position and success. We are not being bankrolled, we will never be consistent challengers. That's not a depth of despair, that's called living in the real world.
