Heard something very interesting today. Can't reveal sources as data protection would mean my job. No reason to doubt this source as his company quite often sponsored the team match days etc. and even had a hand in a shirt sponsor some years ago. He was approached by the trust to help fund them to buy the club and simply told them "you don't have enough money" needless to say he politely refused. I asked him what he genuinely thought would happen and his reply was without hesitation....liquidation. He believes they have no hope of buying the club unless a real sugar daddy come along. Though I would share.

As Wigan is less than a week away and I know we have the small trip to Manchester on Wednesday but we raise the profile of this game. This is clearly a winnable game and should take as many fans as possible. At 20 quid a pop. The coach up is 26. Not bad. Does anybody live up that way as weather could impact the game?

Agree completely. As much of a shock as it is and I disagree with it. But we must remember that no one is bigger than the club, no one is untouchable and the bottom line is all I want is for Southampton to successful. If this man delivers it without breaking the bank then so be it. if this guy gets the best out of us and gets us pushing on up the league then we would have to say it it was a great move. Just hope this doesn't come back to bite NC in the ass.
