What makes you think that he is only worth a measley 3 mil. To me and I would think a club that does need to sell would not sell for anything less than 5 mill. People may think that's stupid but I truly beleive if we have no reason to sell then it is going to take a ridiculous bid to part with him. How much would we have to pay to replace 30 goals a season?

I would be really surprised if anyone of note left. As others have already said we are not on a position of having to sell simples. However I am sure that if a bid came in ir would hav to be ridiculous fo us to accept. Remember we don't have to sell to balance books. I am sure that funds will be made available to purchase more players to compliment the best ones we have. We have a real chance of going somewhere within the next few years. Who would not want to be a part of that?

To me this shows they are here for the long haul and building outfit not just for the Premier league but european football and maybe regular internationals - such as hosting a Brazil V Argentina game. This management are truely building an enterprise here. One which I believe will be the envy the majority of other football club.

People keep blaming James at right back. 2 things. Please remember James has been thrown in the deep end kind if like bridgey and it took him a long time and a lot if a abuse at the time people saying nit good enough but patience told. Also where the goals being leaked from? From what I have seen I is all over the park not just one area. So please don't single out people that is not fair. You win as a team and lose by it. You score as a team just as much as you concede by it. Well that's my thoughts anyway.

I am not just talking about today. And don't use the 10pt penalty as an excuse that has nothing to do with it. It is about the number of games. Yes we did have an extra day, but did Brighton play on Wednesday? I don't think they did. If you go back to the original post we have played 21 games so far against the Prem teams who have played just 12,nearly halve. i completely agree with what you say in regards of being professional sportsmen. But should have to be able to play at the top of their game twice a week? I am not so sure. But this is just my opinion.

But are they rotating their players more wisely than us??

21 games played so far this season with another 3 games to go before the end of the month. Compared to the Prem - 12 games played in the league so far. I was thinking today how much I actually like being in the lower tiers of football as i get to watch my team even more than before. When there is an international - no break in play and so many midweek games etc. Great! But then i felt on Wednesday we are still playing our full strength side. With only Davis - the only one who does the least amount of running being rested?? Strange. I would have thought it owuld have been much better to give people like Waigo, Sagga etc a start and give the outfield players a rest, those who we depend on the most. Strange. So, after todays performance, do you think that we are getting a little tired and key players could actually do with the rest?

Gotta agree with you on that one. Very inept performance by all today. Brighton were always going to be up for this one with Poyet going in 3 days before the game. Lets just hope this was a bad day at the office. People were spouting off we should not fear anyone - is that the overconfidence? or should it actually be we should fear that evryone we play will up their game when playing us? What a craaaaap weekend :-(

Brighton are better all round they want it more than us and having a lead so early they will grow even further in confidence. Best we can hope for now is draw I reckon.

I would not fancy our chances against them, we are nowhere near playing that well. They have been demolishing teams in the prem recently, they just havnt been getting the results

Because you nevefr know what he has said at the half time interval. He has to see what is going on in response. If nothing has changed then yes time to change. Which is exactly what he did. Last week and this. We should thank ourselves lucky, if this were last season we wouldn't have changed it at all.
