Well time for my tuppence. Just think about how much ML actually paid for Saints and what he could have paid for us if he had decided to enter the realms of footy ownership? 65/70mil?? Plus new players. If I would have bought a club I would have the most unbelievable business plan seen. I would have ensured that I not only put up t 15mil price to buy the club then I would ensure that I was in a position to move it forward. So I would have earmarked atleast a further 5 mil if not more for player purchases. In the first year. As businesses grow they rarely make a profit in the early years.

I suppose this is the problem when a loan player does well at a club. the home club sees a upturn in firm and developement And also the reason that players go out to gain experience for their home clubs to nurture and groom them for first team action. Better to gain exerience playing first team football rather than playing non competitive reserve team footy.

Every one keeps saying that James is crap and not worthy of his place blah, blah, blah.. If I can't make the game I do make sure I listen to it and all I keep hearing from the commentators is that James delivery is very very good. This is the reason why I believe that AP keeps picking him. His delivery is always being praised on the radio so he can't be that bad can he? If people were getting on the end of crosses then maybe people would be screaming his praises rather than shouting him down all the time. Maybe the quality is lacking in the attacking roles from Lallana, Hammond and Spider? They do not have the prowess to get in to the right positions??
