Agreed - and probably why we're being linked with some of the players we're being linked with. Who actually arrives is another matter.
-
Would it be greedy to ask for pictures of both?
-
No picture for the last 4 hours? Sack the media department!
-
That's a Newcastle United shirt...!?!
-
Indeed - now we just need to retain our own possession a bit more, and do more with it...

Courtesy of MLG's link ( http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11662/8820344/Pochettino-s-plans ) on the Wanyama thread, I thought this article was worthy of further discussion: http://www.optasportspro.com/en/about/optapro-blog/posts/2013/pochettino%E2%80%99s-pressure.aspx While the main thrust of the article is clear, about how Pochettino's pressing game restricted our opponents, I thought it was also useful for highlighting the first part of the season, where it was the complete opposite, and we allowed our opposition way too much time on the ball. This graph tells the story: The bars in red show games where the opposition had more time on the ball than their season average, green is the reverse, and the thick line is the Premier League average for possession. All in all some very interesting and telling stats IMO.

Christ, if the squad flew to Barcelona on a Dash8 they all miss the start of the season with leg and back injuries. 45 minutes on one is more than long enough.
-
We need video proof.
-
What's next, a video from the coach window as they pull out of the airport? No, silly me, it'll be baggage reclaim, surely?
-
KP goes, unsurprisingly, by chasing the runs, and ends up playing on. Effectively 57-3 now. Need an innings from Bell. Well, frankly, from all of them.

Players wanted - 11-a-side tournament in Preston, 20/21 July

You are wanted magnet! Anyone else out there? -
16 pages on Wanyama here, although mostly about the rumours of Man U signing him: http://www.redcafe.net/threads/victor-mugabe-wanyama.357254/page-16

lol - guilty as charged. Although I don't think 110persaint is a troll, just a bit quick (and wrong) to judge when we don't actually know the full story.
-
In your opinion. I think you should probably wind back on the authoritative tone, especially when judging people against a dubious source at best (no offence Pilch).
-
Stay classy.
-
Whisper it quietly, but Pilchards might not actually be right...
-
It is possible that some at the club said something along the those lines, perhaps to give him time to settle in and adjust in the hope that he might come good. Of course, saying that is one thing, whereas those who were adamant about it and getting 'indignant' about it (although i'm not sure it was that bad) were clearly overdoing it. As always we won't know, but what's the point of raking it back up again now? He's moved on, we've got better (and possibly more to come) so thanks and goodbye.
-
And that was necessary why exactly?
-
That won't stop some making their minds up however and blaming the player, MP, Cortese, the transfer committee, or whoever else comes to mind. Good luck to him if this is true, onwards and upwards for us.
-
And it never does. Hence we have transfer threads that run to thousands of posts, primarily to give people something to do during the day!

Ignore - duplicate

Make your mind up Alps, just t'other day you were saying how good it would be if we brought in two signings by this point in July (which it seems we've virtually done), and how that was an improvement on previous seasons. You can't have it both ways!
-
It wouldn't surprise me if some of the games chosen were mainly on the basis of it being one of the big 4 or 5, and who they happened to be playing was coincidence.
-
Ignoring the fact that we're English for a mo - i have to be honest and say that Agar has impressed me and I've enjoyed watching him play!
