You could amend this one: Sorry...

Our main concern is not who we're playing, but HOW WE are playing... our inconsistency is the single biggest determining factor over our performances and results... we know we can beat almost anyone in this league, as evidenced by the Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City results... but we have let ourselves down in other games. With a few new players, some additional quality, and some quality time on the training ground, I really hope we can at least eradicate the non-performances that we still seem to put in from time to time. I don't mind losing if we've given it a go, even if it's to Crystal Palace or Hull, because that will happen... but I want to see us at the races more often.

Victor has fans. Victor's fans are weird. Apparently he likes meat. Victor Wanyama.

As much as I agree that our start is 'easier' on paper than last years, we really mustn't get into that kind of frame of mind IMO. We won't be a surprise to teams this year, and everyone's expectations will have increased, not least our own as this thread shows. I can't wait but it won't be easy.

That geezer is probably going to have some questions to answer...

We have a winner...

And now Llambias has resigned...
-
Correct... clearly far too easy.

The 'return' is nothing to do with the accounts, it's just to confirm Directors details, shares held etc... it's seperate to the accounts. http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/infoAndGuide/faq/annualReturnInfo.shtml

Arsenal, Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man U and Spurs are the 7 teams who we have played every season we've spent in the Premier League. Name the 8 teams who we have only played against for ONE season whilst in the EPL.

Burnley 2-3 Saints - Rasiak(2) and Skacel (has he signed yet?)

Thinking of questions is harder than finding answers actually...

We have a winner! Jacinto did an interview in the Pink at the same time I was working for the Echo covering the Youth Academy... he was basically saying that he thought he deserved a chance in the First Team. Strachan didn't like and put the ban in place, but I didn't know about this when I went along for my regular weekly interview with an Academy player... I pitched up at Staplewood, told Stewart Henderson who I wanted to speak to that week, and he said 'OK' and nothing else... so I'm then stood pitchside interviewing (I think) Matt Crowell, and WGS comes striding over, shouting at me 'Hey, stop that, stop what you're doing!'... then proceeds to launch into me about 'you lot' meaning the Press (even though I was just doing an hour a week freelance), right infront of David Coles, Paul Jones, Neil Moss doing their keeper training in the corner of the training pitch. They just laughed, and I felt rather small! Stewart Henderson came back out afterwards, and I told him about it... he just said 'Oh yeah, sorry about that, I forgot!' It was my own little taste of what a half-time team talk must've felt like from WGS!

Did he? I never noticed...
-
OK, another clue... this player was signed from Spain and ended up returning to Spain.
-
Guess away!
-
No!
-
Nope. Here's a clue: He never appeared for the first team, and the interview that led to the sanction was about that exact fact.
-
Along the right lines, but incorrect.
-
Neither of them... interestingly I can't find any mention of it on the web anywhere, so if someone gets this by remembering it, I will be impressed. Clues to follow if need be.
-
Nope.
-
OK then, here goes: Which player's interview with the Echo led to Gordon Strachan banning any player under the age of 21 speaking to the Press without the managers permission? (Anyone who knows me and probably knows the answer as a result, is not allowed to answer! )
-
Eh? Thought you got it first?!
-
Pah, why couldn't I find that site earlier...?! lol
