Has he though? Just sounds like he's acknowledging the comments sent his way, and given clear reason for his prediction for us to beat West Ham. Hardly looks liek he's embarrassed, just doing his job, which coincidentally means he predicted lots of defeats for us. Big deal. Personally I don't get all the hassle some people give Lawro. Yeah, he's not the best pundit on MOTD, but these are just one-off predictions, done to get people talking and interacting on the Beeb website. Job done.

I was just referring to Turks' post, he said it was net. I have no idea what was originally said...
-
£1.7m NET, i.e. after tax. So his actual salary will be a lot more than that BEFORE tax etc is deducted, i.e around £60k a week.

Wood with a quickfire 28 off 24 balls before being bowled by Naik - Hampshire then declaring on 454/7, Wheater unbeaten on 56. A strong position and, shock horror, maximum batting points, something we only managed once all of last season I believe?!?
-
Vince out on 148 - Hants now 416/6, Wheater moved on to 47*... didn't realise he's been dropped twice on his way to that score, a bit lucky!

There's clearly some forward communication, or commission-based sales going on whereby, unless you tick the relevent box when getting the insurance in the first place, your details may be passed on to 'selected third-parties' for them to contact you in this way. Admiral or whoever released the details probably get a referral fee, or are paid upfront for the leads. As yes, personal injury claims like these are significant contributors to premium increases, and a reason why I also would never pursue such a thing on principle. That said, at least someone has *caused* an accident so any claim is linked to their actions... the ones that *really* bug me are the people that try to sue councils or companies because they've tripped over a paving slab that was raised 4mm. That is just money-grabbing... should've been watching where you were walking! Don't get me started on PC Kelly Jones...

Not got a card specifically, but it is on my driving licence. I completely agree with you both above, but there will always be those who are against it, either on personal or religious grounds.
-
A steady start for him so far, steady progression for Hants overall really. At lunch, 365/5 off 92 at lunch, Vince 116* and Wheater 28*.
-
So, at the risk of tempting fate, what's Wheater like with a bat then? Have virtually zero knowledge of him...
-
I think you're on the wrong thread... you really can't miss the one I think you should be on... it's the small one called 'Pompey Takeover Saga'...
-
Scraping the barrel for videos now, aren't we?
-
Ervine bowled by Hoggard after a brief rain delay. 308/5 off 74.4
-
lol - I'll leave the delusions of wealth to the Pompey fans... no, I will simply put a modest bet on the fact that Pompey will not return to the PL within 10 years!
-
But he understands Saints...!
-
It's actually having the opposite effect for me... I find it quite funny that they think it'll be that easy. Ignoring stupid posters on SaintsWeb means it's easy to ignore Pompey fans talking crap. If it's true that part of the 'add-ons' are for Pompey to repay £2m if they return to the Premier League within 10 years, I would happily place a bet on the fact that they WON'T.
-
Hard to keep up with them all to be fair...
-
Bad light stopped play - 286/4 after 71.2 - quite respectable after a start of 0-2.

"Comment From ROGERPFC CANT WAIT FOR NEXT SEASONS CELEBRATIONS AS DIV 2 CHAMPIONS WITH THE BIGGEST CROWDS OUTSIDE OF THE PREMIERSHIP"

So, I guess the next step is for the Trust to actually come up with the goods. And if they don't, fans will only have themselves to blame?
-
Hopefully all will be revealed soon. I'm certainly interested to see exactly what they're getting for their money, and just how much they'll have to actually run the club.
-
Neil Allen getting a little ahead of himself as usual, just to get the reaction.
-
@pn_Emma_Judd: no confidentiality clause in the deal, so public should be able to read it all if they want when it goes on the register Fair enough...
-
And now past 60... must've been dropped.
-
Yeah, looks like a very formal document to me...!?!? lol
