    Rail Strike

Enjoyed listening to recent James O’brien interview with Mick Lynch. Very interesting and eloquent character and pretty balanced.
  2. Do you actually click on them?!
  3. I imagine he sees it as quite aspirational. I see him as a Rab C Nesbit character who hasn’t had sex for 20 years. Not your Waitrose target shopper

    Pegging

Saw an amusing tweet where mother said when she asked her daughter what was pegging, the daughter spat her tea out. And then when she told her what it was she did the same

    Pegging

Loads of references to it but where is origin of story?
  6. You left out ‘too drunk’. She epitomises this govt in her ineptness. Lammy is shit too IMO but not at her spectacular shakey head level
  7. Changed my mind on Sunak. He is a twat. Rather have that idiot Truss
  8. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/jul/29/boris-johnson-lords-cronies-legitimising-bribery either abolish the HofL or put a bullet in Johnson’s head. Prefer the latter

    Pegging

I am assume this is a follow up thread to one of questions put to Liz Truss as to how naughty she can be?

    Thick twat
  11. Surprised haven’t seen a list of the England squad in shaggable order. Daly looks pretty fit
  12. We need something more current and references the Nord pipeline
  13. He is making points and has his style This place seems to be getting more sensitive.
  14. Is comical. I get there are loads of dinosaur attitudes to overcome but it is massively on the rise and don’t think anyone other than complete twat would be against girls playing. What needs to stop is if you say that back heel wasn’t such a great goal you are harbouring misogynistic views. Patronising how people feel need to be so positive about every aspect. England doing well is fantastic but some seem to be more excited about championing the inequality rather than enjoying the games
  15. He was someone who I didn’t know was still alive. Seems like he was a lovely person. 93 is a good innings as they say
  16. And of course the subservient working class who love to do as Rees-Mogg et al direct.
  17. You’ll be fighting against the fallacy argument that private ownership makes it all more efficient. No one actually believes railway and utility companies make it more efficient but there are powerful ruling classes whose friends will all be v senior in these companies and will lobby against it.
  18. Ok based on that Monaco second half I have revised to 6th
  19. Heathrow is quite dysfunctional these days. Used to be my preferred airport but now a nightmare. Long stay car park charges are almost as high as what short stay were a few years back

Think he is like a JonnyBoy Wolfie Smith antiestablishment sort. Think they might get in really well
  21. I love people posting on a forum not understanding why differing opinions are being aired and discussed.
  22. I enjoyed it but the hype now is starting to annoy. BBC News just after game had first 10 mins dedicated to it. Ridiculous. I get it is uplifting story in a world full of gloom but needs to not get too hysterical about it’s significance
  23. Could argue all but our first goal were very soft
