There are more things at play than just the manager. The fact that Palace still decline is not testimony to Pardew's skills. Could equally say he has left a hopeless squad and bought badly.

It's only the 'we' that is same lot who want change as soon as we go two games without winning. Mainly same attention seekers who don't go to games but have all the simple fixes to hand but frustrated that their little posts and ideas seem to go unheard.

Interesting. I don't see why they just can't give every game home and away individual loyalty points and just use a rolling 3 seasons. Obviously need to factor in ST and could do on a diminishing basis i.e. Points accumulated from last season gets reduced by say 40% going into the following season. Straightforward to have a cumulative total against each membership. A bloody spreadsheet could do it! In addition could also let 'uber fans' brag about their score.

Yep - gives such optimism and if stays fit he's going to fly for rest of season think. Exactly what we need when we have come a little pedestrian.

I do sympathise but no club has ever taken sort of thing into account - they're soulless corporations like any other business. I'd liked them to have recognised the L1 loyalty or any token of goodwill i.e. Free cup game and suck up the costs but come to expect f all just bs videos.

When my kids were really young I stopped going regularly for few years. I couldn't get FA cup final ticket v Arsenal. I didn't think or expect that my endless home and away games prior to this would help me secure a ticket. I accepted that I was fcked if we got to a cup final. There will always be hard luck stories but if they did use countless years of loyalty there would be far more moaning. Didn't realise Arsenal and WH game counted though. That is dreadful but not surprising as our club is as greedy as the rest.

That gets mentioned every season and people were using same logic last season for us. More often it doesn't happen. I have seen pretty much every ball kicked by Saints this season (apart from Norwich away) and at no time have we looked a relegation team albeit have been sh1t at times

A few exceptions of course but why assume ST ticket holders are going to be day trippers. Why the fck shouldn't they be at Wembley? Everyone knows the deal and many of us have had to suck it up and not got tickets for games we wanted to go to. I was always doing aways (admittedly mostly London) on others' tickets but just perpetuated me not having 'loyalty' shown on my ST. Whilst I do get why those that do many aways and don't get to home games are p1ssed off that is very much the minority.
